Such a beautiful property. We found it in the dark. The sheep were wonderful to see. I enjoyed feeding them. Wonderful property for people of all ages, Steven & Lynn were friendly and helpful. Thank you to you both.

Great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Area is lovely and quiet. Pool is great for kids & family setting. Extra bonus to see there family dog & cat they're both very cute. Thank you for the stay.

It was a great first-time-trip to the Warkworth township and Matakana area, for the family. We were impressed by the friendlyness of Lisa and Steve, when we had check-in. We had a little problem with the door lock seemed stuck. We asked for help and Steve helped us open the door eventually. The property is basically the next-close-to-home for us. It has most of the amenities ready and very sunny rooms. They kids love the free wifi (of course) but did not have chance to try the swimming pool, as it was a cold day. The hosts prepared some freshly harvested fruits for us, plus milk and drinkable water in the fridge, which was very nice. It would be great if we could have a box of tissue at the room which can be handy. The property is very close to the Warkworth town center, also easy to drive to Snells beach. We would say it is a good value for money!

What a great little spot with an awesome pool. It wasn't super clear that the bach is right next door to the owners, but they were very welcoming and hospitable, and the visits from their dog and cat were a bonus! The bach is clean and tidy with everything you need for a stay with friends or family.

Wonderful property. Lovely grounds and pool. Great little touches with bread and snacks left for us on arrival. Hosts were very friendly and even let our daughter feed the sheep, which she loved!

We had a wonderful stay at this bach. Steve was absolutely lovely—friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with. Communication was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. Their hospitality really stood out and made us feel right at home. The bach itself was comfortable and well cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!

The property is cool. We took our elderly mum. The entrance to the house is flat and was easy for her to navigate. The house is well appointed in Kiwi chic, very comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and bath is very tidy, address was very easy to find, 2 mins from the Warkworth Township. Steve is a top chap, nothing is a problem. The sheep on the other hand were a complete disappoinment, generally disinterested in us.

The owners live next door, but we were never disturbed (hopefully we didn't disturb them as we had a 3.5yr old and a 7mth old). We were given a nice welcome. Bathroom was a little dated, but was in excellent condition, and shower was great. Kitchen is small, with minimal work space, but functional. Owner has been advised to be clearer with the description of the 'oven' as it's an air fryer oven, so is very small. Other than that the beds are very comfy, the place is very clean, the views both front and back are lovely. The place is gorgeous, would definitely come back.

The house itself has potential, but we were disappointed by a few key issues. The internal hallway door between our space and the owners' had no lock, which was a major privacy concern for us. We also found the tv noise from the host's side of the house to be intrusive. We hope the hosts consider adding a lock to the connecting door and being more mindful of guest quiet hours in the future.
