The Barnhouse is a charming hillside cottage that offers surrounding mountain & woodland views! Relish the peace & tranquility of complete privacy without a neighbor in sight! This newly renovated cottage provides touches of luxury with all the modern amenities you love while somehow taking you back to a simpler time.

Living room has large 60 inch smart tv! Enjoy the ambiance of the gorgeous electric fireplace that can be used all four seasons with the optional heat feature!!
This 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage sleeps up to 8! King master suite, king room & queen room). All bedrooms are equipped with charging stations, a smart tv & armchair - adding to the comfort & convenience of each room. Master bedroom has its own zone heating & cooling.
Large attached garage is heated & cooled & features extra hang out area with tv, ping pong & games while still offering plenty of indoor parking. Property also has a large outdoor parking pad for extra vehicles and multiple trailers!! Store your ATVs & motorcycles in the attached garage for safekeeping! Circle drive for easy access for trailers!
Cottage has a starter supply of coffee, toilet paper, trash bags & basic soaps!
Located on a paved road, driveway is gravel. Property is tucked against the National Forrest boundary & is only a short 5 miles from the town of Mena. Blazing fast internet & cell phone booster will keep you fully connected during your stay!

Trail riding

Hello! Vrbo friends, let me tell you about this super cute house that’s secluded from the noise with all the amenities to include kitchen, bathroom, living, laundry right at your hands. Also a perfect place for the kiddos to run and play with a game room makes a great place if weather doesn’t permit outside activities. Don’t hesitate just book you won’t be disappointed.

The Barnhouse did not disappoint!

The Barnhouse was such a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, private, and had all of the amenities we needed to make us feel right at home. We will definitely stay there again whenever we need another relaxing weekend away in Mena.

Great Location, Very Comfortable

This is a great property, located in a perfect spot, and was comfortable and clean. Kitchen has all necessities and beds were super comfortable. The area was private and very quiet.

Everything was Amazing!

Amber, the owner of the property is wonderful to work with and was incredibly helpful in giving ideas of what to do and where to go. The house is super cute with lots of evening/night options for fun and the location is centrally located between Little Missouri Falls and Wilhlemenia State Park. We will definitely plan another trip there again some time!

Beautiful peaceful cottage in woods

This cottage is beautiful. The place is quiet & peaceful. Our daughter & Grandaughters stayed with us. We played games & laughed a lot. We shopped for antiques in Mena & enjoyed eating at the Queen Wilhemena lodge.

Comfortable, quiet and perfect location

This was our second stay here and we really enjoyed it. Very comfortable and cozy with all basic supplies for cooking. Location is great - close to Wolf Pen and so many other trails/CRs to explore the area. Internet connectivity was great for streaming and for remote working.

Barnhouse stay

Excellent home and host

We absolutely loved this house! It was very clean and adorable. We enjoyed our stay so much. The property was secluded and we felt our trailers and sxs were very safe. Close to riding trails, but far enough away also. We would love to stay here again! We can’t thank Amber enough for such a great stay, she was only a text away the entire time if we had any issues/questions. Very very responsive when we needed!

Perfect place in the perfect spot!

If you’re looking for a very nice home to stay in with plenty of room to park trailers and a garage to park the toys in this is it! You will likely need a 4x4 to make it up the hill with a loaded trailer. The garage is awesome it was definitely our hang out spot. The beds are very comfortable, shower pressure is amazing, and the kitchen is well stocked. A few minute drive to town and right down the road from the trails. We will be back for sure!

Nice place with plenty of parking

This was a great spot! Soft, comfortable beds with nice linens. We had a great time with our kids in the game room when not out riding trails and exploring. Kitchen was stocked and easy to use. Driveway is super steep topped with loose gravel and may be an issue for smaller cars in rainy weather. Corner showers are small but get the job done. Super comfortable place to stay and hang out. About 15 minutes to WalMart for supplies. Great neighborhood.

Fabulous Getaway at The Barnhouse!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barnhouse! Super cute property with all the touches sitting in a beautiful spot surrounded by trees! Beds were comfy - kitchen had everything we needed and then some (LOvED) having the Keurig) and the playroom with pull out sofa was great for hanging out! The size and location were perfect for our family. We were in riding distance to trails. Our Hostess, Amber we very responsive and even had a treat waiting for us when we got there! Would definitely return if in the area!

Great Property

This was a great property to stay at for trail riding Wolf Pen Gap. Loved the garage that we could park our (3) SXS's in. Host was readily available to answer our questions. Driveway is very steep, so just note that if you are pulling a heavy trailer. There is space at the bottom of the hill to unload your trailer if needed. Plenty of parking which is really nice. House is clean and was perfect for us as we had two couples in our party, but could definitely accommodate three couples or a family with multiple children. Easy access to the trails from the roads and I believe the house was approximately 8 miles from the trail head. Has a Keurig, pots/pans, and everything you need to be able to cook. I highly recommend this property.

Great getaway for side by side riding. Great Wi-Fi !

My brother-in -law and I stayed on property and the accommodations were wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and showers were good. My wife wishes there was a bathtub but I was just fine. Only hiccup for the trip was there was no drip coffee maker and the ice machine made a lot of noise but no ice. I will come back as it met all of our needs.

Wonderful!

The decorative details and amenities were perfect. We didn’t really need for anything! We cooked most of our meals at the property. We were able to explore the property as well. Our days were spent ATVing and evening were spent at the house enjoying the fire pit listening to music while cooking on the grill. We really enjoyed the garage amenities as well. The games were a great addition. Thank you so much!

A W E S O M E!!!!!!

The Barnhouse was everything we expected AND MORE!!! We visited in the fall for a family wedding and it was perfect!! Everything was just as described: clean, well furnished, comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, roomy, clean, great outdoor space, extra amenities, and did I mention clean!!!? Most of all Amber was an exemplary hostess!! All correspondence was very professional as well as helpful and friendly!! If I’m ever in the Mena area again, I will definitely check for The Barnhouse first!!

Great getaway with amazing host

We stayed three nights in the Barnhouse. It’s so nice and private. Pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful and so is the property. The master bedroom has a very soft bed, I know that isn’t for everyone, so I thought I’d mention it. The shower in the master has great water pressure. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need to cook besides mixing bowls. There are only cereal sized bowls, but we made it work. Amber was amazing and answered every question we had and was super friendly! We cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back soon!!

The Barnhouse!! Excellent stay!!

The property was very clean and peaceful. My family enjoyed the Barnhouse!! The game room was awesome and equipped with lots of fun things to do. You can take the backroads to get into wolfpen gap. It’s a little bit of a drive but fun!! Lots of outdoor seating and that was nice!! We will def be back to stay here again. Amber was great at answering any questions we had about the area. Just a pleasure to work with! The driveway is steep so I would recommend a four wheel drive especially if you are pulling a trailer. Plenty of parking available for vehicles and ATVs!! Great place!!!
