Tucked away in the quaint countryside, Treloar Cottage provides the peaceful getaway you've been waiting for!

There is a beautiful view, a bonfire pit, water activities, a grill, fireplace, and full lake access. The cottage is nestled only 25 minutes away from towns on the coast of Lake Michigan. They have boutiques, restaurants, farmers markets, and seasonal festivals to enjoy. Upon arrival in any season, don't forget to look in our activity binder for things to do and places to see!

Great little cottage. Many extra little thoughtful things...stuff to make s'mores, special blend coffee, bottled water, binoculars to use. Wish we had more days we could have stayed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice and clean house. Loved having access to the lake and use of kayak, paddle boards and wood for the campfire. Also nice extras like popcorn, coffee, water and s’more items! Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, relaxing. 11 out of 10. We have stayed many places and this was one of the most perfect in every way. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super cute, very clean, and in a great location close to everything we needed. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful extra touch and really made us feel welcomed right away. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Amazing view, comfy and clean. Loved playing in the sand and being out on the lake. Conveniently located to Fenn Valley Winery, Saugatuck, Allegan Thursday Farmer’s market, and South Haven. Thanks for a great stay in your beautiful home! Hope to be back. Book this home if you are between a few! You’ll love it!

As soon as we walked in the door we were in awe! Spotless and met far and above our expectations. The cottage had everything you would need and the welcome basket was a special touch! Well informed about the different areas to visit. The view of the lake from the picture windows was priceless. Awesome memories made! Hope to be back!

Great little place for a getaway. Sun up to sun down fun, whether it was fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or camp fire smores. Place was very clean and fully stocked for the stay.

Treloar Lakeside Cottage did not disappoint! From the ease of checking in, to the cleanliness of the home, to the spectacular views, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. This home and hosts offered everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

We loved our family vacation. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the lake and used the kayaks and paddle boards every day. Our little one had fun on the beach and playing in the water. A great vacation!!

Family, Wedding, Fun and Relaxation

This was the perfect property for my family to stay at for the weekend of our sons wedding. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook. Very relaxing spot on our busy weekend!

Great cottage for kids

We loved our 3 day weekend at the cottage. We and another couple each brought our 18 month olds and they had so much fun, great setup for kids with a grassy backyard, sandy beach, and peaceful lake. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful cottage weekend on lake

We loved the Treloar Cottage! We brought visiting family from Europe and they got to experience a true American lake experience - we loved using the bonfire, smores, paddle boards and kayaks, sand castle supplies, and grill! The cottage was very clean and everything we could have needed was supplied.

Homey relaxing getaway!

Every thought has been given by Mark and Betsy to make this a homey and perfect vacation stay! We brought our boat and had so much fun celebrating my Moms 90th Birthday. Family came from FL, CA, TX and the Allegan area. After Family left we had two relaxing nights to just lay back and chill with our Great Grandson! Just perfect!

Perfect weekend getaway

With vacation plans cancelled this summer, my sisters and I wanted a nice little getaway on the water. This place was perfect! The access to the water, kayaks, paddle boards- we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!! The weather being absolutely perfect helped too! Thank you for being such gracious hosts with wonderful neighbors too!

Perfection in every way

There’s no better way to describe Treloar Cottage other than simply, perfection. My girlfriend and I stayed for more than a week over NYE and loved waking up to the beautiful views of lake, enjoying the ambiance of the fireplace, and watching the snow fall. We had everything we needed and more to feel right at home and the hosts really did think of every little detail to provide excellent hospitality. This was our first vacation together and we will be making it a tradition to return to Treloar for years to come!

A gorgeous little paradise

The view of the lake in the morning was majestic at every hour. My friends and I enjoyed the comfortable beds, paddle boarding, and Amazon Prime movies. We played a campfire game that was left in the living room and it brough us closer together as we sat around the firepit at night roasting marshmallows. The wi-fi is a little slow so be careful if you are coming to WFH, but otherwise a very pleasant, cozy, and affordable experience.

A great place. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 all across is because the one mattress was pretty bad, way too soft so that 2 people will roll into the center. And the couches have the same issue with seats badly needing extra support. Besides these 2 things a wonderful property.

Rare gem at an incredible value

This place is heaven. The cottage itself is beautiful, clean, well appointed with a special view of the peaceful lake. The kitchen is good, there are washer and dryer for laundry use, a great selection of DVDS, and the beds are very comfortable. My daughter and I spent a lot of time on the dock, paddle boarding and sitting on the shaded deck looking out at the lake. The hosts provided wood and starter for a campfire as well as s’mores ingredients, which was so thoughtful. I would love to come back again❤️

We stayed at Treloar Cottage for our daughters wedding at the Barn at Monterey Valley. The location was perfect. We walked in and saw the lake from the sliders and fell in love with the home. Each morning we had coffee outside and watched the sunrise along with a Bald Eagle that joined us two days in a row. It was so quiet and peaceful here. The two bathrooms were so appreciated. We were lucky enough to have a full moon during our stay. It was so pretty seeing it from the couch over the lake. It was the relaxation we needed before the big day. I did not want to leave and seriously thought of adding yet another day. We will definitely be staying here again. Maybe for our anniversary. The winter would be beautiful watching snow fall from inside and with a fire going. The home had everything we needed. Loved the collection of antique books too. We felt at home immediately. Thank you for being such great host.

Everything was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of water options for fun. It was spacious enough to accommodate all 6 of us...one being a two year old. We have rented here two years in a row and absolutely love it
