Our home used to have a large backyard that took hours to mow under the Australian summer sun. When we rebuilt in 2024, we traded endless lawn care for a more thoughtful, welcoming space. Matilda’s Urban Escape became private two-bedroom accommodation, named after one of our mums as a small family tribute and a nod to our story of coming to Australia and embracing a name that feels truly local. Built first for family and friends, it is now shared as a comfortable, private stay with heart.

A great modern cozy place
The place was lovely, provided some privacy, was clean and had great modern amenities. We had brilliant support and every we needed throughout the week. Thank you for hosting us!
