If you are looking for a special place, you've found it!

(Pssst... Quick favor if you're thinking about booking: Please read the entire listing as it likely answers any questions you may have. Thanks!)

Our home is located in a building with 24/7 Security & Front door people near Downtown and South Loop. Once you get your key/fob based on our simple check-in guide, you walk into a nice lobby with a doorman. With key/fob, you may walk right in like you live in the home and go up to your floor.

Once you take the elevator up, you take a left out of the elevator and walk all the way down to the corner unit.

Open the door and you are welcome to beautiful views of Chicago. The home opens up to a kitchen on the right and the living room straight ahead. To the left is bedroom and bathroom one. If you walk further one, you'll see bedroom and bathroom two.

There are also great amenities so make sure to keep your fob with you at all times! There is a rooftop deck, business center, and a lounge for your enjoyment. You may also use the laundry facilities for $2 per wash and $2 per dry. Lastly, there is a gym attached to the building, which you may purchase passes during your stay.

There is a NOISE MONITORING system within the home to track decibel noise level. Please respect our neighbors and do not get too loud outside quiet hours :)

FAQs
Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

Q: PARKING?
A: The home is very easy to get to via public transit. There is public parking connected to the building, operated by LAZ. It is $15-30 / night. SPOTANGELS is your best bet to find FREE parking. Before you park please check all available signs as they may have changed and make sure there are no parking restrictions. Please use SPOTHERO for other parking options.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you with a starter pack of toilet papers.

Q: When can I check in or check out?
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

Q: Luggage Drop-Off / Storage?
A: If you do not have flights that coincide with our check-in and checkout times, you may use RadicalStorage to store your bags for your optimal time :)

Q: Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.

Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.

Q: What's my total booking price?
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.

Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!

You have full access to the home, and building amenities with your key fob. Please always keep it on hand!

The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop:

Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as "Chicago's front yard" to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza.

Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.

And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the "Millionaire's Row" that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago's most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century.

In the adjacent Printer's Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest's publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.

You are only a 1 block away from the Green, Red, and Orange "L" subway stop, which gets you virtually everywhere in the City. You are also a short walk to a number of restaurants and attractions

Excellent Place with nice view of the city

Wonderful accommodations that were close to main sites of Chicago and close to access points for the subways. Beautiful place with warmth and comfort. It was easy to access and the owners were available and checked in on us during our stay. It was a great experience! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for "home" while visiting the area.

Overall it's okay - some initial problems tarnished the trip

The problem started at check-in. The check-in time is 4 p.m. - we went to the lockbox and there was no key. We reached out to the host multiple times with no luck. We called VRBO customer service and they were unable to get a hold of the host either. Eventually after about 35 minutes of sitting in the lobby, we found out that the cleaners still had the key. They brought it down with no concern whatsoever. This made us about 45 minutes late for an award ceremony. When I brought it up with the host, their arrogance was horrid. In any case, the actual property is fine. The mattress in the main room is worn down - you sit on it and it almost collapses on itself. The shower is either scalding hot or cold. The bathroom toilet ran constantly. I wouldn't stay here again.

First Time in Chicago

We all had a great time staying at this location. The master bedroom was a very pleasant surprise. I could not tell that it was a master bedroom from the photos only. Both bedrooms do have doors to them. The living space was wonderful and the view was amazing! Would definitely stay here again my friends and I visit again. JW and Tonya were wonderful hosts! They were always checking in via messages to see how we were doing. They provided detailed instructions for checking in. The location was also very nice. Recommend buying an unlimited CTA pass while you are in Chicago so you can take advantage of all the public transport around here. Everything was within a short bus ride right up on Michigan Avenue. If you are arriving early and need a place to store luggage, would recommend using Bounce and booking it with the UPS store across the street to store your luggage until it is time to check in. Overall, we all had a great experience!

Good location

Spent Christmas at this location and it worked well for the family. It was large enough to have two families stay and eat together. Close to shopping and park areas. The washing facility was clean and easy to operate. One thing to be aware is parking. It’s expensive if you don’t pre-pay through Spot Hero or something like that. Be aware, in/out parking pre-paid options are not close by so be prepared to park and not move your vehicles. If there is a city event like a professional game, parking is tough and expensive. Would recommend the property manager, send links for checking in and property information separately for easy access. I would definitely stay at this location again. I’m from Chicago so the location is a great place to experience the city.

Horrible communication

We got there a little late around 9:30 but no where does it say you can't reach them at any time and they even encourage you to reach out to them with any questions, they sent automated messages for a "easy check in" but none of the links would copy. So we didn't even stay there our first night and slept in our car because no one would answer the phone and tell us the code to the lock box, and won't give anything no in return for the trouble. Overall terrible service and communication on they're part and I will never stay here again.

Quiet space, great view!

This place was an amazing weekend getaway for my wife and I. We enjoyed the wonderful views and quiet corner of the 20th floor. Great restaurants nearby, a block away from the Roosevelt station makes for easy access to the rest of the city, or walk right up Michigan Ave.
