Very beautiful five bedroom home with a hot tub and located within minutes to Seven Springs, Hidden valley and Laurel Summit resorts. This is a private home that’s has everything you could want and more and surrounded in a beautiful wooded setting.

Very beautiful five bedroom home with a hot tub and located within minutes to Seven Springs, Hidden valley and Laurel Summit resorts. This home has everything you could want and surrounded in a beautiful wooded setting.
It is located on a private 1 and 1/2 acres. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own mountain rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at a reasonable price. There are two very large decks to relax on with enjoying the atmosphere. One is located just off the kitchen with the grill and seating. The other deck is off the front that has a beautiful mountain view with a 6 person hot tub.
The Great room has cathedral ceilings, a ceiling fan, and plenty of space for the guests. There are plenty of windows to let in the natural light and beautiful wooded scenery. All of the ceilings in there are natural oak.
There is a stone fireplace and all of the wood is provided for guests. There is a flat screen television with a large video library. We have added a unique and natural beautiful bar/table along with seating for 8 guests to dine. The kitchen includes all major appliances and cooking utensils.

The home has 5 private bedrooms. The master bedroom (#1) is located on the main level just off the kitchen and great room. There is a large pillow top queen bed. There are two large private loft bedrooms (#2 and #3). Each bedroom has double beds and dresser. One has a television and DVD player. Step out of the bedrooms and you have a walkway that overlooks the great room. There is also a desk area there so you can read, work, or view of the great room.
In the downstairs area there is a common area, laundry room, and two additional (#4 and #5) bedrooms. The #4 bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, and large closet. The #5 bedroom has a king bed, dresser, and television with DVD player. Also in the basement is another common area with electric fireplace and dart board. There is a futon bed that provides additional sleeping accommodations.
There are 1 and 1/2 baths. The master bath has a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and hair dryer. The huge hot water tank has unlimited hot water, so many guests can shower without running out. The second contains toilet, sink, and mirror.

Dumpsters full on arrival. No where to put our garbage. No trash bags. Had to ration toilet paper. What is the point of two bathrooms twenty feet apart on the first floor. Had to have a 70 year old man sleep on the couch because we had three handicapped people who could not do stairs in the middle of the night. Also had a security camera pointed at the main area where we congregated. They invaded our privacy. As soon as we covered it the knew even who did it and with what. Not so good

New Year 2024 cabin

We enjoyed the house. I gave 4 stars due to Great Room being somewhat smaller than we thought by viewing pictures. Also, kitchen was very small, but had amenites needed to cook. All in all, we had a great time. The house did workout for a weekend for our group. And the fact that most of group skied during the day at 7 Springs. Which is about 30 minutes from house.

Great time

Had a wonderful short ski trip with family. Location was nice and the hot tub was much needed after hitting the slopes Only complaints would be a shortage of garbage bags and toilet paper

Perfectly quiet forest Haven

This property is perfect for families to get away and enjoy the quiet of the outdoors. Clean, easy access. Hot tub and plenty of space for a big crowd. The host was amazing and helpful. Just a really great place.

Nice family vacation

Plenty of room for everyone to stay. The firewood was all slabwood that was somewhat wet so we had a hard time building a fire, but other than that great visit. Close to Ohiopyle. Secluded on a back road. The dogs enjoyed it as well.

Served its purpose

The house was perfect for a ski weekend with friends, which is exactly what we were using it for. The communal space wasn't very large, but we were okay with being close! There were a few things that could have been slightly better.The house was freezing when we walked in and took about 2 hours to warm up with both the baseboard heat and fireplace. The downstairs bedroom area was very musty. The water in the back bathroom had little to no water pressure. And there was no wifi, which normally wouldnt be a problem but for the area a few of us didnt have cell service. Other than that, the weekend was fantastic and the cabin served its purpose.

Great place.

Nice cabin off the beaten path. Hot tub and house were very clean. Bathroom situation not the greatest but we made it work. Lots of towels and amenities!

Great rental needs a little tlc

This was an EXCELLENT venue for my 40th birthday weekend. The house is perfect for a fun weekend away. The kitchen has almost everything you need, except a sharp knife. Otherwise, you’re golden for kitchen stuff. The beds aren’t super comfy, but there are plenty of them and room to sleep. There were several spots that needed repairs: one of the bed frame wasn’t put together properly, the hot tub step was really wobbly, and there was a hole at the bottom of the back steps that was a little treacherous. Aside from a few minor issues, it was fantastic. We had an excellent time and I would recommend it to everyone.

Great mountain getaway

Great location very near Laurel Summit State Park with lots of nearby hiking. Beautiful area to get away and relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Our hosts responded quickly to any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay!

Good little place BUT a few things.

So, I called the owner of the property to confirm and never received a call back. The stay was fine overall. The beds were comfortable and it was very cool in the home, not too hot. However, there were some severe and also lesser issues that I feel 500$ a night was a little excessive. The stairs going up to the deck on one side were absolutely crooked and seemingly dangerous. An inspection would not approve them. The hot tub area was dirty and not well cleaned (the cover and the tub itself was pretty gross.) The towels smelled of mold and were ripped. Definitely not okay or sanitary. The towel rack in the only full bath in the house just came right off of the bracket upon putting a towel on it. It did this several times. The ad says it sleeps 10-13. However, the supplied beds only sleep 10 max. So it really doesn’t sleep that many. There’s a futon and couch but, they’re not very big that would sleep a max of 12 with those. The parking situation was NOT good. For 10 people, we had 7 cars there. With 4 cars, it was problematic and it was tight. If a property sleeps 10, at the very least, there should be comfortable parking for 5 cars. The property was clean. Fridge was clean. There was a water filter on the tap, super great. I really feel the bad things about this property added up to making the stay a break even. Wouldn’t do it again. I paid for 2 nights and it was pricey, especially for the issues. Could have saved some cash with a few hotel rooms. This had too many crucial flaws for the price. Maybe if it was $200 a night, it would be tolerable. But I paid a little more than double that per night. Also, one full bath for 10 people? Not comfortable. Don’t recommend.

Bachelorette Party Weekend

This house was just about perfect. My friends and I had a great time hanging out on the porch and lounging in the hot tub. Very close to a winery that we went and spent the day. Very clean and stocked well with normal day to day items that are needed.

Girl's getaway

We had a great time on our Girl's Weekend Getaway. This house was more than big enough for the 6 of us. Very clean. The cleaning lady was still there cleaning at 4 due to a large party being there for a week. But she was more than helpful letting us know where stores were and telling us a little about the property.

House in the mountains

House was as advertised. 5 BR and plenty of space for 8 people. The hot tub and common areas were great. Everything in the house worked as expected. With an ice storm the previous night, we couldn’t make it up the driveway but the parking near street level worked if you watched your step. 15min drive to Hidden Valley. Host was great with response time and communication
