We had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of space inside and out for our large group. It is well located in Rockwood for all the best activities and attractions. We would rent again.

Everything was pretty good, but I am so thankful that I rented the complete house for six people although we were only four because the bathroom in the main floor is a huge, outdated Jacuzzi tub and I would have never been able to get out as I am 4’ 10” with arthritis and My husband who is elderly as well got in it the first night and had a very hard time getting out so we opted to go down the very skinny steps to the basement to take a shower.

Moose river Lodge

Great scenic location. Perfect for snowmobilers. Cabin is a little dated but well maintained. Host were very attentive but gave us our space.

Great stay

Everything you would want for a stay! Comfortable beds, beautiful get away. Grandchildren loved rolling down the hill, along with adult or two. Close access to ATV trails. Host communicated well, no surprises.

The location was lovely and the deck was perfect for an extended family gathering. We enjoyed seeing the peekaboo views of the lake though the apple trees and watching the float planes fly over. My dog enjoyed watching the large flock of turkeys run down the road one morning and it was extra special to see bald eagles fly over the house.

Friends and family weekend

Dottie was really friendly and communicated with us often. The camp had a lot of space for everyone and was in a beautiful location. Bed linens, blankets and towels were provided, which was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Hunting trip

Excellent location to jump in to the Maine woods for hunting. Hot showers and warm beds to greet you upon your return. Property owner was pleasant and very responsive.

There was plenty of room for 10 adults. The open floor plan was exactly what we needed for our week together. We had a blast and all fit comfortably around the living areas. Playing cards and shooting the breeze with others around the room was easy. All of us were able to join in the fun.
