Amazing house and amenities! Walk to Foodland, the access to the beach club and the Hilton for the day were our tipping points to choose this place over others. The rental office is courteous and quick to help and answer any questions that arise. Highly recommend and we’ll likely be back again! Mahalo!

We had a great stay! Home was clean and well stocked. There was a very close store and pool was a quick walk and we could view it from the primary suite lanai. Everything was convenient and beds were super comfortable. We had immediate assistance when we accidently set the child lock on the beautiful cook top. Would definitely stay again. Mauna Lani resort is amazing and access to the beach club super handy. Mahalo!

Convenient location and close to pool

Perfect house to relax & enjoy the Big Island

The house location is perfect for us! It is close to stores, restaurants, and swimming pool. It has plenty of room for 4 adults & 2 children. It is very clean with everything we needed! The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, and meal preparations.

FAMILY TRIP

This is our 7th trip to Hawaii and we always stay using the VRBO at Mauna Lani Golf Resort. We are never disappointed. Everything is always amazing.

Fantastic Property!

House was even more beautiful than shown/described. Close to shops, beach club right down the street, three different outdoor spaces, tons of privacy. Exceedingly well furnished and very comfortable overall. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed our stay and were so impressed with how well equipped the home was. Everything was lovely, extremely comfortable and we felt like we were right at home. It is decorated beautifully, the location and amenities were so convenient, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Perfect for our needs in a perfect location

We were a party of six and found the house perfectly comfortable. The house is beautiful and well located. Access to the beach club a nice plus - the beach there is small, but had some of the best snorkeling of the trip. Liz and her house manager made sure we had enough information to be well oriented to the property and surrounding area.

Excellent

We had an excellent stay at Hale Kanani. Exactly as advertised…clean, spacious, private, well-stocked, and convenient. We enjoyed our time lounging around, using the private beach club, and as a perfect starting point for drives around the island. We have stayed in many VRBO’s over the years and this was honestly our favorite so far. Highly recommend for families and friends who want an upscale, private Big Island experience.

Great home, location and ease of communication

Had a fantastic time. 3 bedrooms with connected baths. All of the needs in the bath and kitchen. Had an issue with dryer and it was handled immediately… felt at home

Wonderful!

Very spacious and beautifully decorated home very close to Mauna Lani Village. It was easier to walk to the grocery store than it was to drive and park! Access to the Beach Club with all the beach gear you could need. Very nice pool complex/hot tub/workout room just around the corner from the condo.

Perfect Spot

We absolutely loved this spot. Myself, husband, 2 children and another couple stayed here. Tons of space for everyone with a great outdoor area for eating & relaxing. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away and the beach was a couple of minute drive. Loved that the house had tons of beach toys, a wagon, coolers and chairs. The house was well stocked with beach towels, kids dishes and had the perfect room upstairs for our children with two double beds.

Wonderful!

This is a great property - very clean, well stocked, and conveniently located in the Mauna Lani Resort area. We had everything we could possibly want. The house is located right by the pool area, so there was sometimes some noise from there, but for us it was never bothersome - just kids having fun. This is very close to the grocery store and the shops at Mauna Lani (highly recommend the coffee shop - great coffee!) This is overall a great resort area and the house really felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect accomodations

This property was very well appointed throughout and had everything we wanted or needed. Kitchen is well equipped. Nice linens. Reading and travel material and information on the area and lox al restaurants provided. Very short walk to pool (1.5 minutes) and right around the corner from the local grocery and a few shops and restaurants. Private beach is 1 mile away. Lots of beach equipment, bikes, snorkel gear. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home on the Kona coast.

This is a wonderful home. It is supplied with all of the necessities and more. We travel often with the two couples who joined us here. Both couples thought this was the best home we’ve stayed in while traveling. We had one mechanical issue on the second day. It was fixed quickly and without any question. Book this unit and relax.

Great house as advertised

This was the best house we've ever rented. I visited with my wife, SIL, and my 7 year old and 4 year old. Everyone was happy with the property. The house included everything we needed for the stay. Normally one of these rentals doesn't have a basic item you need and you have to run to the store for it. The house had everything we needed for the 8 days we were there. The hose outside of the hose was broken when we arrived, and I let them know that day. It was replaced the next morning. We really enjoyed the stay and really enjoyed the house.

Wonderful home in a great location!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Elizabeth's home. It was roomy, clean, conveniently located, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have asked for. The pool, gym, and grocery store are all very close by and my wife enjoyed daily morning runs in the surrounding area. It was a pleasure working with Elizabeth and she delivered an outstanding vacation experience. I own and manage two vacation rental properties myself and I think I know what a discriminating traveler is looking for, and this experience nailed it. We especially enjoyed the 49 Black Sand beach and the night dive with the manta rays near the Sheraton hotel. I haven't played golf for several years but when I did play I enjoyed a round at Mauna Lani, and driving through the course during our stay revealed that it is still very well maintained. We would not hesitate to return for another stay and to enjoy Elizabeth's aloha.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PARADISE!

3 Adults and 2 babies travelled to Kona to stay in this beautiful home for 11 days. Our first time in Kona, and our first time using VRBO, and it was AMAZING! Liz the owner, and Kathi the property manager were so responsive, accommodating and kind. The home was gorgeous and so comfortable! It had all the amenities you could ever need, whether you want to cook in the kitchen, Bar-B-Q on the patio, or take the coolers/chairs/towels/boogie boards to the beach - we had everything! This truly felt like our home away from home. The pool and gym was lovely - never busy. This property is walking distance to the grocery store and restaurants - so convenient! We had access to the private beach too. We love the fact that every bedroom had it's own full bathroom and TV, plus the patios at the home were very private. Beautiful all around - best vacation ever! Thank you so much Liz and Kathi for your hospitality. We will definitely be back!!! Rita S. & Friends :)

Comfort, space, quiet and convenience

We loved this property and appreciated the spaciousness. Very comfortable beds and seating, indoors and out. The laundry room—including soap!—beach towels and garage were big pluses. Communication and support from owner and on-site staff were top-notch. It was wonderful to walk just 2-3 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. Don’tmiss breakfast and lunch at Under the Bodhi Tree. It may be that we missed the heads-up about these in the listing, but I would offer two small caveats to future guests: We were caught off guard by the absence of shampoo and conditioner in any of the bathrooms (an inconvenience, and a puzzler in such an otherwise well-appointed property). We were also surprised by the rule about leaving the A/C up at 76, which was not a comfortable temperature for us. This is a lovely place to stay in a great location—snap it up!

Aloha Laurie, so sorry for whatever misunderstanding here that occurred. It is our practice to leave shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms so I am not sure why they were not stocked. Also our temperature gauges actually go to 72 degrees so again not sure why this wasnt' communicated to you. To any future guest. please make sure to ask during your stay if there is anything causing discomfort and we will do our best to address. I will follow up with our crew to make sure that these issues are dealt with appropriately. Best, Liz
