Fantastic property and beautiful area with much to do outdoors. The property manager was very responsive and communicative. I will be back out thee soon!

Lovely property well maintained located in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the river. The property owner was amazing and kept in contact with us every step of the way. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and plan on coming back.

Great spot in the lovely town of Metaline Falls with wonderful high bank view of the river. Would like to return and do some of the Selkirk Mountain hikes. Loved the quilts. We were here with family of 5. Each person had own bedroom. House was clearly a cherished family home.

Yes, we do love our family home and are happy to share it with others. The handmade quilts are family made with love , prayers, and hugs. The hikes in the area are varied from easy to challenging. I hope you are able to return and enjoy some hiking.

Wedding Stay

This home was a good place to gather while we were in the area for my daughter's wedding. The owner made us feel welcome with all the special touches and planning for guests in the home.

Beautiful and peaceful

Very clean and homey. Well supplied with anything you might require.The view of the river across the road is magnificent. I wish I could stay longer in such a peaceful environment.

Cool and comfortable

Three of us stayed here on one of the hottest weekends of the summer. The AC was perfect--it was a wonderful place to relax. There is a lovely view of the river, a nice neighborhood for walks in the morning and evening. We didn't cook much, but it seemed like the kitchen has everything you would need. Rebecca was very responsive and welcoming.

Incredible view!

Great experience in this peaceful, family home. We felt blessed to have such a comfortable place to hang out since the hot weather during our stay didn't allow us to fish and hike as we had planned. The view is truly amazing! We saw eagles and deer from the living room. The kitchen was a joy - well equipped and super organized. . Communication with host was excellent both prior to and during our stay. We appreciated all the thoughtful amenities throughout the house. Thanks for everything, Rebecca. We'll be back!

Fantastic experience.

Fantastic place to stay! Such a lovely location, overlooking the Pend Oreille River from a vantage point second to none. So thoughtfully stocked and supplied, everything you need to have a comfortable stay and wonderful vacation experience. Cannot recommend more highly. Thanks Rebecca!

Amazing view, felt at home right away, well organized kitchen with what we needed.

We, my daughter and I, so enjoyed staying in this family home! We felt comfortable and could easily cook because we could find things.We were thankful for the air conditioning and the fans…were able to keep things cool. Loved all the space and enjoyed having my son, daughter-in-law and family over a couple different times. We definitely hope to say here again!

Too hot

No ac. Closet door fell off when opening doors. Lots of trash in unit.

No AC; There is no central AC which is common for this area since generally it is only a couple of weeks when temperature are high enough it is needed. However during this very unusual hot summer a window air conditioner was installed in one of the bedrooms prior to this guest's stay, . Five fans are available for guests to use and move as needed. Before check in guests are provided a list of suggestions for the best way to keep the house cool using the one AC unit and strategic location of fans. Closet door off of runner: This is an unusual occurrence; the door had never come off the runner before. It is now replaced. Trash in unit: The trash was not in the house, however the garbage cans in the garage were full. Upon notification by the guest, the caretaker emptied the cans as soon as possible. In the house, garbage cans are provided in every room and the caretaker verifies all trash is picked up after each guest.

Beautiful, cozy, everything we needed!

My cousins and I had a wonderful stay. A beautiful location, watching the eagles was a highlight. Can't recommend a better vacation home.
