Overall we enjoyed our stay. The main floor is nicely decorated, big sectional couch and large tv, we appreciated having 2 sets of washers and dryers, there are plenty of bedrooms (one of the bedrooms doesn’t have a useable closet) and plenty of space that you shouldn’t feel crowded, Melissa was great to work with and responded quickly. If you are expecting a quiet spot, perhaps you should look elsewhere. The road noise was very loud starting at 5:30 a.m. Nothing the owners can do, but be aware. It was too noisy to have a decent conversation on the big deck. The home could use some updates and deep cleaning.

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family of 6 nicely. There were beautiful views of the mountains and the marina and town was an easy 5 minute walk. Our host was very kind and personable and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. We had a lovely stay.

Great Stay - Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BayAway in Port Orchard. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and clean surroundings enhanced our family vacation. Ample room for 5 vehicles, and many attractions in the area drew us to them. We especially enjoyed the smaller of the two bakeries downtown. The kitchen facilities were complete, and the BBQ grill was excellent. Wish we could have stayed a few days more!

Great place to stay in Port Orchard

Very nice VRBO. I would definitely recommend staying here. The only downfall is the road noise which other individuals have stated in their review Melissa was very friendly and was very responsive when contacting her.

July 4th in Port Orchard

Really nice property, something for everyone. Great views, we watched the USS Nimitz come in and dock, plenty of dining options, and loved the firepit. Clean and fun.

Easy Access

House is very clean, comfortable & big enough for everyone to spread out. Views are great from most sides. Fully stocked with everything needed for an enjoyable visit.

Perfect location

This house far exceeded our expectations!! Perfect location for any kind of day trips and the views are great!! Little road noise if outside but you do not hear when inside. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The beauty of Bay Away!

This was my families third time renting The Bay Away! We cannot say enough great things about this property: the cleanliness, amenities, convenience and comfort of this home. The property owners are amazing and so easy to work with. Looking forward to our next visit.

Home away from home

Our family enjoyed this hidden gem with a view. Very well stocked spacious home. Melissa, the host communicates very well during and before your stay. Clean house with a great location to downtown Port Orchard. Highly recommend ❤️

Absolutely as advertised! Four golfing friends who enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We understand why it gets 10 Star reviews. Very clean, comfortable and less than 10” to several great golf courses. Melissa was fantastic in communication regarding any questions. We all loved it!
