Disappointing Stay
Our stay was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with closed window shades and some closed bedroom doors, which set an unwelcoming tone. The carpets and rugs were so stained and felt dirty. Carpet tack strips were exposed in some areas, leading to someone in our party cutting themselves on a tack while walking up the stairs. The bunk room main light didn’t work and some of the kitchen lights didn’t work which was frustrating and made it very dark in those areas. Upon arrival we were also greeted with a horrible smell throughout the house that was nauseating. We opened every window and left the house right after our arrival to try to air out the smell. Other issues included discovering urine stains on the hall bath shower curtain, finding garbage under beds, finding a used vape, and finding dirty clothes in a bathroom drawer-making the place feel gross and making you wonder if it was even cleaned before our arrival. We basically used the place to sleep and didn’t want to spend any extra time there. Overall the rental was a major letdown.
