Really enjoyed the cabin, had board games , firewood inside the chimney & an extra stock pile ready to go. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend, plus a gorgeous view!

We absolutely loved this cabin! The history and restoration of the cabin is remarkable! The views of the mountains and the beautiful lake are amazing! The sunsets was our favirite! Cabin is clean and coxy!Everything we needed was there. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful view of the lake and mountains!! Enjoyed our stay and we also had the chance to visit with the owner! He gave us a great breakfast recommendation and it was delicious!! We will definitely be returning to the Johnson Creek Cabin!!

Beautiful views and lovely outside deck. Close enough to town to get groceries but far enough to feel out in nature. Well stocked kitchen and so nice to have two bathrooms! Great hikes and great stables/ riding opportunities all nearby as well.

The cabin was in the perfect location for easily exploring Yellowstone. The view of the lake and mountains was magnificent. The check in and check out process was really easy and communication was excellent. Consider this rental for your next Montana/Yellowstone vacation.

Beautiful property. Everything you need as a launching pad into West Yellowstone. Marta was extremely responsive and the cabin was extremely comfortable and everything we needed.

Nice cabin facility with two bedrooms and two baths. Just know both bedrooms and one bath are on the second floor and the other bath is downstairs. May be an issue for some who have trouble negotiating stairs. Otherwise very nice facility. All appliances, dishes,and cleaning supplies (laundry soap, Clorox wipes) provided. Location is about 20 minutes from the West gate of Yellowstone and West Yellowstone has all amenities such as grocery store, fuel, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend this residence for its convenience, beautiful views of Hebgen Lake and clean, but rustic look. I plan to come back next year with my mom. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The cabin was amazing and had everything you could need. Location was excellent for exploring the park or areas nearby like earthquake lake. The owner Bob was so nice and gracious. He is also very intelligent and the cabin offers up some much history. I will return and would absolutely recommend staying at the Johnson creek cabin.

This property was perfect for our getaway. I love log cabins and this has been renovated very thoughtfully. The view of the lake and mountains cannot be beat - just spectacular. Very close to the W Yellowstone entrance. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Marta!

Incredible views and extremely well appointed cabin. Owner meet us to ensure all was ok for us. Only draw back for us , we thought there was a bedroom on the first floor and a loft upstairs. Had a 91 year old mom with us.Again, u want the Montana feel with an incredible cabin, this is the place for you! Quiet and peaceful overlooking the lake and mountains.

We had a wonderful time in the Johnsonn Creek Cabin. It was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. There were 7 of us and it was perfect.

Excellent location with an amazing view. Plenty of firewood and complimentary bear spray, which IS needed. True log cabin with all the utilities and internet.

Perfect location for a family

Our family of 8 (4 kids) were happy with location as we wanted something close to Yellowstone but still give us the ability to eat a real meal and spend time together in the evening. This place was stocked with everything from detergent to coffee filters to keep us from spending a fortune at the grocery store for small needs. Would definitely stay again on our next trip out west!

The perfect little cabin!

Our family of four stayed here while visiting Yellowstone. The location and cabin was perfect! While it may look small, there was plenty of room for us all! We enjoyed the friendly fox that stopped by, too!!

We loved the cabin, it was exactly what we expected. It’s great how quiet it is and you can see so many stars. The cabin is cozy with 2 bedrooms but one is a loft. The kitchen was well stocked and great that there was a washer and drier. Only about 15 min from the west entrance to Yellowstone. We highly recommend it

2025 Davidson family vacation

We had a great time and the cabin was very nice and close to the town and National Park. Wish we could have seen it snowing but missed it. We will definitely be back again.

Rustic getaway

This is a small rustic cabin, perfect for a family. The location is excellent for access to Yellowstone. It’s a few miles outside West Yellowstone and is isolated without being overly so. The views are spectacular!

Beautiful location

The cabin was very rustic from the outside, but had everything we needed inside. Stepping outside in the morning we were greeted with a beautiful view of the mountains. Location was close to West Yellowstone and very convenient for our visit to Yellowstone Park. We enjoyed our stay!
