Lido Key is located on a laid back barrier island close to trendy and vibrant downtown Sarasota on the west coast of Florida. The area is known for great beaches, good food, outdoor activities, local attractions and lots of sunshine. We are centrally located on Lido Key a block to the beach and short 10 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle for boutique shopping and numerous outdoor seating restaurants. Downtown is minutes away over the Ringling Bridge.

This new to market second floor bright and sunny island decorated two bedroom one bath unit provides all the comforts you'd expect after a long day at the beach or exploring the local area. With vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans throughout and recessed lighting to set the mood along with the open floor plan it's warm and welcoming and easy to relax and entertain at any time. Located in the quiet and charming Chateau Village condo complex it's one of only 10 units in the complex which is conveniently located on South Lido Key.

Ted Sperling Park is a 5 minute walk and home to some of the best kayaking and SUP in Florida with the Lido Mangrove tunnels. North Lido Beach is home to large colonies of sea birds year round and great beach walks. Downtown minutes away!

Absolutely wonderful. Very quiet. Condo has everything you need for a perfect stay. Great mattress and pillows. Short walk to the beach. I highly recommend taking the trolley Very convenient and saves tons on parking. Highly recommend this condo, you will love it.

Overall Nice Property, But the Beds Were Unbearable and pillows weren't great either.We recently stayed at this property in Lido Beach and, overall, the home itself was nice. Unfortunately, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it impossible for us to enjoy our stay. The mattresses were so poor that we woke up every morning with headaches and severe back pain. The pillows weren't great either. Despite trying to make it work for the first three nights of our planned eight-night stay, we ultimately had to check into a hotel just to get some rest and salvage our trip.We did reach out to the owner to share our concerns, but the response was disappointing. She mentioned she wished we had told her sooner and said that she would have offered to replace the pillows. The issue was clearly the mattresses and the pillows added to the problem. When we expressed that, she dismissed our experience, saying other guests had complimented the beds in past reviews. She even text the comments from the other reviews. This made us feel like our concerns weren’t taken seriously.The owner did say she would try to rebook the remaining nights and send us a check if she could, but we have yet to receive anything.While the property itself was pleasant, the lack of comfort and the owner’s dismissive attitude made this a disappointing experience for us. Hopefully, future guests have a better experience with communication and comfort.

Quick stay for soccer event

We had a soccer showcase in Lakewood Ranch and also had some college visits scheduled down towards Ft. Myers. After looking at some hotels, I decided to check VRBO to see if there were options to give my daughter her own room, which is where we found this spot! The locations was fantastic for the beach and the main part of Lido with restaurants etc. Our property manager/owner was very helpful throughout the stay and is still helping me with various questions I had on the area. Would highly recommend the stay to anybody, whether it be for a quick stay or an extended vacation...well worth it!

Walkable Location

Enjoyed our weekend stay at this pretty condo in Chateau Village near St. Armand’s Circle. Five minute walk to the beach, fifteen minute walk to upscale shops and good restaurants on the circle. The condo is nicely decorated and had everything we needed - nice kitchen, fluffy towels, and beach chairs. The owner promptly answered my questions and provided helpful information about the area.

As advertised.

Access to the unit was easy, and communication with our host was good. There is only assigned parking for one car, which I did not notice in the property description, but it may be there. Unassigned parking is pretty limited. Ourcomforcomfortable

BEAUTIFUL CONDO

We arrived and the condo was exactly as advertised. The location was perfect and within walking distance of the beach and St. Armands circle. Janice was very helpful and available for any questions or recommendations. The condo was super clean and that is important to us. The king size bed was super comfortable. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this. We would definitely rent this condo again. Thank you for renting to us!

Great location

Very clean and tidy condo with a great location! We have stayed on Lido many times and this place did not disappoint. Having amenities for the beach is a big plus for us. Close walk to the beach, or down to St Armand’s circle for shopping and dinner, and the owner was very good at reaching out and responsive. Would certainly stay here again!

Location and Beautiful Condo

This place was located closed to both the beach, and St. Armand’s Circle with its many shops and restaurants. The trolley nearby was also convenient for trips downtown. Jan’s place was beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. We would love to return someday!

An awesome week!

The condo was exactly as described. It was very clean, comfortable and decorated so nicely. The communication with the owner was excellent and the location was very close to the beautiful beach and a short walk to many great shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

Beach Bliss.

Conor was amazing. Very clean, and great location. Ability to walk to beach, and shopping/restaurants at St. Armands circle. The location could not be better. Condo provides towels, beach chairs, and umbrella. Everything you need to have a wonderful trip. Highly recommend, and wish to return!

Cozy, Clean, Convenient

The owners were very responsive to all inquiries- beach towels, chairs and a cart were provided, which made packing much easier for us. The beach was a short walk, and we walked to St Armand’s Circle each night for dinner. Our car stayed parked for our 5 day stay, as all we needed was very close. We also made reservations ahead of time for a guided kayak tour through the mangroves, just down the road. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The condo was clean, and we enjoyed morning coffee in the courtyard. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

February getaway in Sarasota

Very nice, clean condo; all appliances worked and parking was easy. It was a 2-block walk to Lido Beach, and a pleasant 1-mile walk to St. Armand’s Circle. We enjoyed our winter break very much!

Wonderful location

The location was amazing and the condo is small but very clean. Jan was amazing and checked in on us to see if we had any questions and gave us tips for the weekend because there was a Seafoodfestival in Sarasota. We loved the walking distance to the beach every morning. A very trivial matter is there is no dishwasher, what we found unusual, but with so many foodoptions on St.Armands Circle it was no big deal. It was a very quiet neighbourhood and we felt very safe walking home after dinner from St.Armands. Communication with Jan was great, before, during and after.

A fun and relaxing week!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. It was clean, cute, and the location was perfect. Situated in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the beach and the shopping and restaurants at St. Armands Circle. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Perfect small two-bedroom condo

This was the perfect small two-bedroom condo. It was clean, nicely furnished and a short walk to the beach. Communication with the owner was excellent and very helpful. Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay in a two-bedrrom condo for the same price!

We are Chris & Jan and we have lived on laid back Lido Key since 2013 and owned on Lido even longer. Both of us are retired (Chris recently - yahoo!) and as we say we are "living the dream" on Lido.

Jan's a retired banker from Maple Shade, NJ which is where we met in 2000. At that time she did not know I would become the way for her to move to Florida away from the snow and ice of winters. We've been together ever since. She's also the brains of our rentals.

I’m a Florida native that grew up in South Florida beaches and have lived all over the state. I'm retired after having worked as a Sales & Marketing Executive seemingly spending more time on planes and in hotels around the world that at home over the past 20 years. I'm pretty handy and handle the maintenance.

We've been so fortunate to have made so many friends with people that have rented from us and many come back year after year.
