Great location to Visalia

Great house, the backyard is perfect for conversation and entertaining and it's close to downtown would rent it again!

What a wonderful find!This house knows it is a BnB. We had plenty of plates, cutlery, etc and utensils for cooking. Everyone slept great. The backyard area was great for a family evening together.

Such a great, beautiful, clean house that was perfect for our group! The communication of the host was amazing and if we need to ever stay in Visalia again, we would stay here!

Comfortable home close to everything

The house is quite comfortable for a large group to stay. The home is very clean and well stocked. The house looks just as it appears in the pictures. The home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, but stores and restaurants are close by.

Perfect getaway

Large clean and very well stocked of basic necessary supplies. Backyard is amazing with koi pond , fire pit, high end bbq grill and a very relaxing hot tub. I highly recommend it to my friends. We certainly enjoyed our stay. Lisa Scott was very helpful and patient to my inquiries.

The only negative in cleanliness was that the Kitchen floor.

I am very sorry to hear that the kitchen floor seemed dirty to you. This is an old house and the finish on the light colored wood floor is again wearing off, making it seem as though the floor is dirty. I appreciate you bring this to our attention and I am glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

New Years Weekend

The house was great, the hot tub was the key to everything along with the fireplace. Only thing was that we couldn’t put the heater higher than 70 degrees and it got chilly inside but overall great location. It fit all of us comfortably, close to grocery store and about 45 min away to Sequoia! Will definitely rent again. Thank you Lisa for hosting us.

Few things

Had an issue with the lock late Saturday night. Batteries were low. Property manager arrived in 10 minutes to fix. Great service.

The house add accompanying apartment easily handled our 10 person group. A beautiful patio was available for morning or evening relaxing. During our stay, the temperatures were about 100-105 degrees, so outside during the day not an option. The listing indicated the jetted outdoor tub was not heated, but heated it was. Perhaps UN heated would have been better for the weather we had, but was nice to have the option. We were conveniently situated for shops, a plethora of restaurants, and grocery stores. I would highly recommend the property. I almost had the high score on Galaxia, the onsite arcade game. But that was just a bonus.

We appreciate this guest's excellent review. The hot tub stays hot even though we do not have the heater on, as the cover insulates it and with temperatures 100 or more, the only solution is to leave the top off for a few hours to cool it down. We have added this to our guests' check in details. We appreciate this guest pointing that out.

A wonderful stay at Lisa’s place

My family was looking for a quick getaway near Sequoia national park and Lisa’s home was the perfect one. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving get together at her place. Her home was very well-equipped for the needs of our kids and family. Everything was clean and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Lisa’s place.

A good place to stay and cover Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon

A good place to stay and cover Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon if you are willing to drive each day. Visalia is a small cozy city and got all the facilities you need. The house is clean with an additional apartment that got 2 queen beds however, its detached from the main house. open space in front and back. A big drive way, Overall its a nice place to stay.

Memorable Stay In Visalia!

Great stay at Lisa's property in Visalia. House was clean and had everything we needed to host a family reunion dinner for 30. Plenty of space with the outdoor area and a very large living room. Loved the grill and hot tub!

Nice House close to Highway

We really liked the house and the apartment for our stay. The house is close to the highway, and not too far from Sequoia National park. The property was clean, exactly as described in the listing. We will definitely consider staying here again when we visit Sequoia NP next.

Great Hostv and Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. There were 7 of us, so we had both the main house as well as the back house. Lisa was a great communicator and easy to work with. The layout of the house works very well for a family. Just the right space and lots of good seating for dining. Would stay here again..

Clean, Inviting with all the comforts of home

House and Guest House were both clean and inviting. Main house was very well stocked and welcoming. The yard was pleasant and great for entertaining. The hot tub was overly chlorinated...not sure if that was due to Covid precautions, but we had to get out after just a short time due to burning eyes. Overall, a wonderful home and a great getaway. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Our stay at Giddings home

Our experience was not good at all the property manager spoke to me like I was a child I am a 56 year old and she was not pleasant at all her and my husband also had words. The house was not clean and definitely not to covid standards by far. I had to clean the home myself for my family and I. Also if you are looking for a vacation home where you can have cool or heat then I would advise you to not book this home the property manager controls it at all time we asked to cool the home down more and the manager told us to open the windows in a state that was covered in smoke from the fires that's what the answer we got Not so friendly at all The whole reason we picked this home was because of the reviews but I would not recommend this property

It is very disappointing that we were unable to satisfy this guest. The guest fully utilized the amenities we offer and appeared to be enjoy ing their time at the house when I checked in. To clarify the thermostat issue for anyone reading this review, we state in our listing that the thermostat (air conditioning), may be set down to 73 as the lowest setting. Unfortunately, we are penalized for using too much electricity in California. That is the only control we exercise over temperature, although I did go on the Nest thermostat app and lower the temperature settings another degree per the guest's complaint that they were, "burning up" at 73 degrees. We strive for 5 * cleanliness and our other reviews reflect our success in this area. I happen to have checked the entire house, which I often do, just prior to these guests arrival. The house was very clean. Otherwise, I would have gone over to find out what we missed and to take care of it. Instead, I declined the guests' request for a discount. I appreciate the opportunity to explain what transpired with the guest. Thank you.
