Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains, you'll be just a short 25-minute drive from the serene Fontana Lake and a 27-minute drive from the Fontana Village Resort Marina, where you can enjoy a variety of water activities.

Very nice accommodations, the driveway is very steep but that’s my only issue. I would stay there again

Thank you David & Melissa for stating that the cabin had 'very nice accommodations'. I appreciate your compliment. My car, a Buick can drive right up that very steep driveway which is demonstrated in the video on my VRBO website. The parking spot will only accommodate one vehicle with access to the side steps into the cabin. Being in the mountains of Graham County, NC, one should expect lots of elevated areas either to walk, hike or drive. We can't be in this type of terrain and have everything flat. But the extra parking for cabin guests is flat for about 150' long and is located in front of the cabin and can accommodate 2 trailers (any size) and 2 trucks, so with this parking arrangement, a driver can depart by continuing on down Arthur's Circle on the gravel side which makes an Easy In & Easy Out while pulling a trailer. This cabin is a little slice of Heaven. Cozy, immaculate and secluded. So many amenities, all in perfect condition. The wrap around porch was a lovely place to relax by the babbling brook. We built a fire in the fire pit listening to the birds sing. Debbie is delightful to deal with. Though we had no issues during our stay. Be sure to visit the lavendar farm down the road. We’ll definitely return in the fall.

Really like the place. We are Tail of the dragon riders and it’s located perfectly to take a left or right out of the driveway and head up for the day without having to use the same path every time. Might not much of a deal for you but I am there for the scenic routes and this offers them in every direction! Also a place to wash the car and bikes is very helpful as there are no car washes near by. Driveway is a little wonky but I have a lowered Subaru that made the ride in and out without any issues. We will be back!

The driveway is wonky because of a huge rock at the corner (too big to move) so you have to take a wide swing in. If you can get in with a lowered Subaru, then anyone can get in. CLEAN and VERY COMFORTABLE! This is the nicest rental we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed, a wonderful host, absolutely beautiful, quiet location. Looking forward to our next trip to the area as we will definitely be staying here from now on!

Beautiful place to stay. It's about a 25 minute ride from the Dragon & the skyway. Everything about the house was good. I would definitely book again.

The host greeted my parents as they arrived and they said she was very nice. I arrived shortly afterwards and the house was perfect and very clean. Perfect mountain house for a weekend getaway

Thank you for your review. Appreciate it. Hope to have you back for some more riding. Now guests can view a video of Arthur's Circle (New on the VRBO website) going up the concrete section of road to the cabin (Le Chalet) from Yellow Creek Road (SR 1242) and; also for two other cabins of Smoky Mountain Vacation Rentals on the VRBO websites (#240956 & #345053) that you will pass on the way up to the top of the circle road. I'm taping it from my car, a Buick. I put the shift in 'Low' but it goes up just as easy as in 'Drive'. It is recommended for trailers being towed up are easiest with shorter ones. A photo of my trailer (with my black Ford truck) is 12' long goes right up as well. When you leave you can go down the other side of Arthur's Circle (not shown) which is hard gravel, so there's no need for turning your truck and trailer around the parking area. This section of road is not as steep as the concrete section going up.

The house has everything you could want or need, plus it's clean, comfortable, and inviting. Deborah is a great host and we will continue returning to her properties.

Motorcycle Trip

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. If you are bringing a motorcycle, be aware that the driveway is a steep hill. Otherwise, it was wonderful!

Nice place in Robbinsville

We rented the house for a motorcycle trip. It was very accommodating. Be advised the driveway is paved but is quite steep which was a bit intimidating to a junior rider with us. All and all a pleasant place with very comfortable beds!!

Bike trip

Had a great time, we rented all 3 cabins with friends. The location is perfect for riding motorcycles, close to the Tail of the Dragon.

Great Stay for MATG Weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's secluded enough to be peaceful but not so far away to be inconvenient. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked with a great view from the front porch. Debbie was a great host and we would definitely stay again! Looking forward to being back next year!

Roy decided to just up and go to an auction out of town (unseen) and out of state (NC). He called a couple of days later to say he bought a cabin. We started to rent it and then lived in it after retiring, And, the rest is history, 25 years later, renting it again after making several changes and updates to it.
