Tiki Bar

A single-family home located one block away from the bay or beach at the quiet end of LBI. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful dunes to the beach. It takes about 9 minutes to walk from door to beach depending on your walking speed of course. This fully furnished house is family ready and sleeps at least twelve comfortably. There are two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a living room on the first floor as well as three bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room on the second/third floor.

Viking Village, a collection of boutiques, coffee shop, fish market, and fishing fleet, is a just a few blocks away. The Historic Barnegat Lighthouse, mini-golf, bars, restaurants, delis, and ice cream shops are all within a short walk. And don't forget the LBI shuttle to get up and down the entire island.

After a relaxing day on the beach or boat and come home to more relaxation on 2 private decks as you enjoy a glass of wine and evening breezes or maybe catch a Monday evening concert at the gazebo by the Coast Guard station.

LBI Family Trip

This is our second stay at the wonderful Barnegat Light beach cottage. The house perfectly fits our family of 10, the living areas are cozy and offer enough room for all. The backyard is one of the biggest highlights for us! We love corn hole tournaments during the day and fires at night. Perfect location to bay, beach, mini golf, bike rides, walks to the lighthouse and so much more.

Great place!

We had a few hiccups with linens upon arrival. The host took care of this right away. She was extremely responsive. Very nice visit with all the things you might need. I’d recommend. Thanks!

Celebration of life

The house was perfect for our group. The photos were very accurate so that we could plan sleeping arrangements before we got there. Location was perfect!

Beautiful space and location for our vacation

We really enjoyed the space of the house-- the open kitchen and living room design created a relaxing space to hang out. The patios and backyard were also beautiful. Convenient location-- 1 minute drive to shops and easy walking to Kubels. A few items could use a little maintenance (some blinds didn't close all the way, leaky spigot in bottom bathroom); however, we had a great week and enjoyed this rental.

Cute and Welcoming House in Barnegat Light

My family and I had a great stay at this house. The location is perfect and the house is well stocked with everything you need for a family vacation. Sonya and her husband were super responsive to every question we had -- they are great hosts. We also loved the set up with bedrooms and TVs on each level. It worked out great for our three teenage/college age kids who all kinda wanted their own space and invited friends down for two of the nights during our stay. The neighborhood and neighbors were also very nice -- we were sorry we had to leave on the day there was a block party scheduled! We would definitely stay here again.

Nestled in the heart of Barnegat Light, a short walk away from the beach, the bay, shops, Old Barney, mini golf, White's, Kubels, etc. Great spot to explore the north end of LBI!

Weekend stay

House was a good size with plenty of bedrooms and 2 living rooms. But the whole house smelled like oil and very sweet air fresheners. It also was dirty, the floors, ceiling fans covered in dust, night tables were dusty. I will not stay there again.

such a great house!

super clean. located in a great spot with easy beach, bay and lighthouse access. the owners are wonderful- very responsive, accommodating and friendly. we loved the character of the house. there are so many great spaces and toys and things for relaxation and entertainment. thanks guys- we'll surely be back!!

Family Fun in Barnegat Light

Absolutely wonderful home in Barnegat Light! Walking distance to the bay and the beach. The home was cozy and fit our family of ten very comfortably. Plenty of space for parking. We loved the backyard space, fire pit, cornhole boards and use of bikes! Kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to return again.

Classic beach house in a nice location

My family really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Lots of rooms for extended family and friends, quick walk to a beautiful beach, playground/tennis courts and restaurants. House well stocked with everything you need to have fun at the beach.

Nice and Relaxing

Loved being on this Quiet Part of the Island, I grew up coming down to Beach Haven, and have spent the past 17 Summers down there. So much quieter and less busy In Barnegat Light which I loved, Loved the Nautical Theme, short walk to the beach and the bay, Loved the Tiki bar, and corn hole and bikes! There were 7 of us, and our kids 17-22 were each able to have friends come down and there was room for all of us to spread out and also connect! Great House! We’ve talked about returning again.. Thanks Sonya! ☺️

LBI Escape

We often stay in the South parts of the island but we really enjoyed the serenity of the Barnegat Light area. The house was a quick walk to the beach and we really enjoyed the yard for outdoor games and fire pit fun. Our host Sonya was always very responsive whenever we needed her which wasn't often.

Great Place

Everything was great! The house was cute and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was room for everyone to spread out. It was well cleaned when we arrived, and it met our needs for the size family that came.

Great Place for a Family

Enjoyable Family vacation!

Sonya was an excellent host! The property was well kept and had ample space for all. Located in quiet Barnegat light and able to walk to mini golf and Poppy's ice cream parlor. Longer walk to the beach than I expected having my 82 yr old mother along, but the gator service provided allowed for easy beach access!

Very Relaxing

The property was exactly as it appeared online - we were not disappointed in any way! The house suited us perfectly and we really enjoyed ourselves at the beach as well. We would definitely be glad to stay here again.

Excellent Cousins' House

Sonya is great and was very, very thorough in her description of the property, including the trickiness of getting in through the front door's combination. Beach decor was pleasant, relaxing and fun. We had plenty of room (as long as we timed bathroom visits a bit) to sleep 9 of us, and could have accommodated a 10th and 11th. Only thing that could be added is that Barnegat Light sounds a "tornado warning" siren at noonish daily and when they need the volunteer firefighters - I called the nonemergency police line at 3am to see if we needed to take shelter. Test: what are the two errors in the "Anchor" sign on your left on the second floor? We are a family of proofreaders ... I hope anyone who visits will be lucky enough to enjoy their stay as much as we did!

Highly recommend!!! The house is close to beach, playground, local market and fishing village. The house was clean and had everything that we needed! The host was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were their with family for a wedding and everything went so smoothly thanks to them!

Perfectly fine for our quick getaway

Long time LBI renter here, so I know the deal. Overall, a fine stay for a family bond getaway with nieces, aunts, grandmas. Stayed from Wed-Sun and the accommodations suited us fine. Owner was by and large prompt with responses.

We are a family of six that has been coming to LBI for years. We fell in love with Barnegat Light and the quieter, slower pace at the north end of the island. We spend most of our downtime here, either out on a boat fishing or on the beach riding waves and taking in the beautiful sunsets. It is a great place for families with plenty to do. The beaches are clean and less crowded. There are fishing charters, sunset cruises, shopping, mini-golf, ice cream and so much more! If you want to go down to the south end of the island where all the hustle and bustle is, it's just a shuttle or car ride away. Come stay at our little slice of paradise, relax, unwind, and let your worries melt away.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The location was perfect for us and we instantly fell in love with the bright open floor plan. We wanted to be in the center of Barnegat Light where we can walk to the beach, the bay, restaurants, stores, etc. It's not super crowded so we feel safe letting the kids go to the park or ride their bikes.

We include 6 beach badges and have bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas. There are also two decks, a tiki bar, and an outdoor fire pit to sit around and enjoy the summer evenings.
