Private Cottage steps from beautiful Bayshore Blvd, enjoy walking, running or biking along the bay and dining at the many restaurants in Hyde Park/Soho. Close to Downtown, Tampa General Hospital, Mac Dill AFB, hockey & football stadiums.
The uniquely crafted cottage is situated within private tranquil tropical gardens, shaded by 200 yr. old oak trees and Japanese bamboo. The perfect retreat for a single or a couple to escape, relax and recharge in a CLEAN, STERILIZED and SAFE environment.

"If you seek a unique, relaxing, SAFE and CLEAN place to stay, Bayshore Gardens Cottage is just that. Sit back and relax within beautiful tropical gardens.
The fully renovated one of a kind quality craftsmanship 800 sq. ft. cottage is an open space design with a sleeping/sitting area that is rustic yet modern. Featuring high ceilings & whitewash beams, Italian terracotta tile throughout and tall bay windows provide spectacular views of the tropical gardens. The windows are equipped with custom blinds for privacy. Distinctive features include: Beautiful queen bed with an extremely comfortable gel foam mattress, custom- made tables, glass barn doors leading into a private bathroom with a beautiful Italian rustic white tile shower, a custom-made vanity designed from native Florida cedar wood, uniquely appointed furnishings and local artwork decor. There is a fully stocked coffee/tea bar area with a Keuring, mini fridge with water and microwave. Cottage has a Smart TV, free high speed WIFI and google home to access your favorite music. Everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The cottage and gardens were designed by your hosts with a diverse mix of tropical plants all growing in harmony and several sitting areas that create a holistic environment for guests to enjoy morning coffee, evening beverages, great conversation, practice yoga or to just simply kick back and relax in your very own peaceful oasis."

We fully enjoyed our stay. Kathy was so sweet. She had a birthday card and gift for me and plenty of water and snacks. It has everything you needed and more. The bed was super comfy and the plants surrounding the place were amazing. Thank you so much!

Kathy and Bob was super nice people. They were always there for you. The place is really nice and very clean in a great location. I love to walk and it was a wonderful place to walk and safe. The location is close to everything a lot of restaurants and shops. I am looking forward to going back very soon!

The location is ideal, as it's just a two or three minute walk from Bayshore Boulevard. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, even loaning us beach chairs and a cooler. The bed is comfortable and the space is clean. We would highly recommend this property and plan to stay there again if we come back to Tampa.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to stay wiggle on her bday and those place was the best we discovered; the people at nice and the setting is beautiful 10/10 must try again

Our hosts were readily available although there was not much we needed. The garden is impressive! Our visit to Tampa was just a perfect getaway.

Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The garden was beautiful and a great place to unwind from my busy days at a conference. I will definitely stay the next time I am in Tampa.

Kathy & Bob were amazing hosts. The property was so beautiful, serene and honestly could not have been in a better location. Centrally located to everything you need in Tampa, and a stone throw from Bayshore Blvd. They were so helpful with any questions we had. And they were very accommodating for our delayed flight departure. 11/10 would recommend. Thank you for having us!

Great stay

We had a great stay! The garden, and lovely outdoor seating was the highlight. Cottage was very clean and queen bed was super comfortable. Convenient to restaurants and Tampa area.

The cottage is very cute and comfortable. Quite sleeping in a comfortable bed. The hosts are great very ideas to do and spot on. Will stay here again. It was a get away from the snow to a warm environment. The riverwalk very near.

4 night stay in April 2026. The location was fantastic. Lots to explore within walking distance and even more within a short drive or Uber ride.Hosts are super welcoming and friendly. The unit was well appointed, lots of unexpected extras like snacks, water, bath amenities, etc. Super clean unit, the bed was extremely comfortable and the opportunity to use the stunning garden and outdoor covered living space a huge bonus!There was a pod style coffee maker, toaster, microwave and mini fridge -the type with small separate freezer space. I would most definitely choose to stay here again if needing a place in the Tampa area!

Great Place to Stay

This was my second time staying at this VRBO. Bob and Kathy are wonderful hosts. The cottage is in a convenient, safe location. Cottage is clean and comfortable. My next trip to Tampa I will be staying there.

We love greeting guests to show them around and answer any questions We are available as needed throughout your stay and ONLY a text away as we live in the main house. If you want a personal suggestion, where to grab a lunch/dinner or what activity to do around town we can help with questions or recommendations and info about local beaches, entertainment etc.
