This was our third time staying at this beautiful property! The camp is very comfortable and clean with a wonderful view of the lake. Judy is an excellent hostess and we look forward to visiting again next year.

The house was beautiful and the owners are great.

We booked our stay for a moose hunt. The accommodations were well beyond our expectations and would recommend this property to anyone to experience the area

This property is perfect for access to fish river gate of the North Maine Woods, accommodations and host are way above a 5 star. We will always look for this place when renting in Portage Lake.

Second time staying at this camp in November and it was the same as last year- very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of Portage Lake. Judy is very responsive and check-in / out is very easy. We hope to go back during warmer weather months next time and enjoy the fire pit and deck.

Great location for the North Woods

We had a great week in northern Maine. The location was perfect for exploring the North Maine Woods, close to the entrance gate. Nice little general store nearby that had a little bit of everything you might need. The property itself was cozy, private, and had a excellent view out over the lake.

Perfect spot

This rental was perfect for our needs, amazing communication with Judy an Jeff the whole time, the place was large and clean. Perfect view of the lake, we were up for a moose hunt which we got the beginning of the week. Definitely will look for this rental every time we need a place on portage lake.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Warm and cozy home with beautiful views of the lake. This lovely home had everything we needed for the week. Very relaxing and great location. Judy is a wonderful hostess and responded right away with answers to any questions. Our next visit to Portage Lake will be in 2025 and we’d love to stay here again!

Beautiful Lake House

My husband and I and my parents enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful lake house. The house was very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you might need, including games, a working gas grill and a well-stocked kitchen. The view of the lake is amazing, a perfect view to enjoy in the morning with a cup of coffee in the large living space or on the deck. We were in the area for moose hunting season and would definitely book this place again in the future.

Tender loving care

This property is full of tender loving care by the owner in so many ways. The warm attention to detail in regards to cleanliness, furnishings and providing a multitude of amenities ( kayaks, canoe, life vests, clean grill, outdoor sitting/eating areas,) is some of the best we have ever experienced. Judy was responsive to all our communications and inquiries. The property was quiet and filled with nature sounds.

This was our first VRBO rental and the experience was great! Jeff and Judy made sure we were comfortable and that everything went well. The house was great and just what we needed for a vacation getaway.
