Excellent Property in a beautiful region of France

Five 60ish cycling fans visiting for the Tour De France. Excellent property in a beautiful area especially if you are interested in cycling / hiking. Only down side is the opening days and times of local restaurants which caught us out a bit but the house is very well equipped and as we are all keen cooks then this wasn't a problem for us but may be for some. Not that much to do for kids. All in all an excellent trip and I would highly recommend the property for a similar group of people.

Thank you for your good reviews. On the other hand, I don't understand your comments about restaurants and activities for young people. Burgundy is one of the oldest tourist and gastronomic regions in France.

A Cozy Haven for a Restful Stopover

Our one-night stay at this cottage was just what we needed for our journey back to the Netherlands. We were warmly welcomed and given clear instructions upon arrival. The house was impeccably clean, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and thanks to the roll-down shutters, the room was beautifully dark, making for a peaceful night's sleep. Although we didn't have much time to explore the surroundings, the location seemed fantastic. Even with our limited view, we could tell that the setting was something special. All in all, our short stay here was a delightful experience. From the warm reception to the comfortable amenities and the serene atmosphere, this cottage provided the perfect resting spot for our journey. We're grateful for the hospitality and would definitely consider returning for a longer visit in the future.

This would be fantastic for a family vacation or group of friends where you bring your own linen and do a proper end of visit. However, when a property has a dishwasher I'd expect it to be good when the machine is loaded and not wrongly started. Also I'd expect to find some handsoap at the washbasins. And if smokedetectors are on the list of material said to be in place I'd expect to see them. Heating at 16.5 C might be the usual in the region, but not for visitors from Nordic Countries where 20-21 is more of the norm. Lack of cellphone coverage is good to know about, even if there is WiFi included which worked well. This property showed up with filtering on Electric Care Charging, however none was present on the property - nor on the description of the property online so it seems the Filtering worked wrongly. Clair was an explicit host leaving nothing unclear. Read the description in detail, there will be nothing outside it available and it's monitored to the letter. This said it's a nice house, the bed was nice, we managed to stay warm and the kitchen and WiFi worked well.

4 étoiles ??? C'est étonnant, pour des personnes qui ne déclare pas le bébé à la réservation, ni les invitations de personnes supplémentaires et festivités dans notre gîte formellement interdites dans le règlement intérieur. Si ce règlement ne vous convenait pas vous avez réservé en février pour un séjour en aout vous aviez six mois pour annuler. Le lave linge, il est bien précisé dans l'annonce qu'il n'y en a pas, alors pourquoi déplorer son absence ? J'ai accepté ces petits travers, Bravo pour votre reconnaissance !!!

Mooi ruim huisje, in mooie omgeving. Hele vriendelijke eigenaresse die tegenover de woning woont, en altijd bereid te helpen.Mooie badkamers en slaapkamers, en fijne keuken.Beneden in de woonkamer is airco. Boven in de slaapkamers helaas niet, daar was het warm.In de tuin was er weinig schaduw, maar de eigenaresse kwam nog een parasol brengen, dat was fijn. Waarschijnlijk is het de bedoeling dat er een overkapping (die stond er al) met begroeing zou komen, dat zou helpen voor schaduw bij de picknicktafels.We hebben een fijne week gehad!

Notre hôte était agréable mais le principe un peu oppressant. La maison top, très bien équipée et agréable. Seul bémol une des douche à l'étage n'avait pas de pression et était froide par moment certainement quand une autre personne prend sa douche en même temps. Sinon rien a redire.

Schönes großes Haus. Sehr ruhige Lage direkt an Wiesen. Die Lage ist gut in der Nähe von Dijon und Beaune (ca. 35 Minuten). Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Wunderbare, moderne und gut ausgestattete Ferienunterkunft mit großzügigem, eingezäunten Außenbereich (inklusive Lounge und zwei Picknick-Tischen). Die Unterkunft war außerordentlich sauber und hygienisch. Die Gastgeberin war sympathisch, sehr aufmerksam, rücksichtsvoll und bei Fragen gut erreichbar und dabei aber sehr diskret und keineswegs aufdringlich. Für Reisende mit Kleinkindern könnte die offene Treppe zwischen Erdgeschoss und erstem Stock erwähnenswert sein. Es gibt zwar ein Geländer und ein Absperrgitter im oberen Bereich, aber Kinder unter 3 jahren sollten dennoch immer beaufsichtigt werden (ebenso im Außenbereich - die Gastgeberin informiert aber ausführlich über mögliche Gefährdungen). In der Umgebung hat man tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Badeseen, Châteaux de Commarin et Châteauneuf, Fahrt mit der Dampflokomotive und Bootsfahrt auf dem Canal de Bourgogne in Pouilly, Dijon, Beaune, Alésia, Flavigny, ...).Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder! Absolute Empfehlung!
