Peaceful stay in quiet location

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay in a beautiful and quiet part of Switzerland. We really enjoyed our week at the apartment and would return happily any time. We especially appreciated Christa and Nicholas our hosts who were friendly and helpful to us. Thank you!

Spectacular spot!

Wald is definitely off the beaten track, and that's what we were seeking for a respite from visiting European big cities. This downstairs apartment in a beautiful home in Wald is privately accessible, roomy and includes everything a traveler needs- nice kitchen, bathroom and two rooms for sleeping - one with large eating table and kitchen area. Clean and attractive with amazing views of the countryside and the sound of Swiss cowbells and glorious churchbells nearby. It is not far from the Wald train station but it's probably better for someone with a car than on foot as we were- depending on your willingness to trek. If you come for hiking or skiing it would be a very nice mid-point as the distance to Zurich is about 30-40 minutes by train - and then a 10 minute walk to location. There is an excellent spa/hotel nearby which we took full advantage of on a rainy day. The Swiss are known for their self contained tendencies but our host was gracious and welcoming and even came to get us when we arrived. For a glimpse of the real life experience of a modern yet ancient Swiss village Wald is a great choice!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick in die Bergwelt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man wirklich braucht. Eine Woche ohne Radio und TV tut in dieser verrückten Zeit richtig gut. Früh wird man vom Krähen des Hahnes, dem Meckern der Ziegen in der Nachbarschaft und dem Zwitschern der Vögel geweckt - eine Wohltat für die Ohren eines Städters. Nur wenige Minuten bis zur Bushaltestelle in Richtung Ortszentrum und Bahnhof. Von dort aus regelmäßige Verbindungen Richtung Winterthur, Rüti, Rapperswil oder Zürich.Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants im Ort. Alles in allem bestens.

Pilgerwohnung

Alles perfekt abgestimmt, ließ kaum Wünsche offen. Kaffeemaschine und Toaster wären noch eine erfüllende Investition:-) Guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen in der Umgebung.

Gezellig appartement, vriendelijke gastheer

Gezellig appartementje, niet erg groot, buitenruimte wat krap. Eigenaar/gastheer woont erboven en is goed bereikbaar en benaderbaar voor diverse vragen. Wel wat weinig comfortabele stoelen om ontspannen buiten te zitten.

Très bon endroit pour le repos et la randonnée. Bien placé pour visiter les villes alentours et revenir au calme dans un petit havre de paix . Les propriétaires n’étaient pas sur place mais disponibles si besoin Très bel appartement très propre et accueillant. Merci à vous

Tolle Ferienwohnung, ruhig gelegen, vollständig ausgerüstet

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert, alles hat bestens funktioniert. Saubere, schön eingerichtete Erdgeschosswohnung in ruhigem Quartier. Ideal gelegen, zu Fuss sind es nur wenige Minuten bis ins Zentrum von Wald. Funktionale, praktische Küche, schöne Möblierung der Wohnung. Ideal für 2 Personen.

Great views, lovely apartment away from the city

We loved Christa and Nicolas's place and were very happy in Wald for our 3 day trip. The apartment is clean and welcoming, and the hosts are excellent and helpful. This is a fantastic way to see some Swiss countryside. The hiking trails nearby are beautiful and provide a great way to wander for a few days. We would definitely recommend this to anyone considering a trip to Wald.

Ideale ferienwohnung Zentral gelegen

Hervorragende zweckmäßige Wohnung , alles was benötigt wird ist vorhanden. Sehr freundliche Vermieter , stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung , sollte doch etwas fehlen . Kommen gerne wieder .

Sehr gut gefallen. Natur-Wunder.

Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden. Urlaub war wunderbar. Wenn möglich, werden wir gehen mehr. Ich würde empfehlen.
