As for the condo, it was perfect. It was very clean and quiet. We had entertainment in front while sitting on the balcony: monkeys jumping from one tree to the next one. However, we did not know about all the stairs going up to the pool as well as the hill to the supermarket and/or the beach. My husband is 73, sister-in-law 68 and myself 64. I did not have a problem with the stairs but the other two did. My brother and sister-in-law were supposed to join us for one week but had to cancel due to all the stairs as he has heart problems. He lost money on his airfare due to cancellation. Food is another disappointment : it is SO SO EXPENSIVE. For the three of us we spent $1,500 (Canadian) on food and we did not go overboard. We ate 5 times at a restaurant as well. The choice of fruits, vegetables and meat was limited. We did not have a car rental so we were quite far from everything we wanted to do. As well, when we got to the condo on May 1st, it was labour day in Barbados. Nothing opened for us to go shopping for food - we had a bag of chips and that is what we ate. It would have been appreciated if there had been a loaf of bread and peanut butter in the condo so we could have eaten something until we could go the next day grocery shopping. We were ready to pay for the bread and peanut butter. This is something that could be added to the cost of the condo for people arriving as it is a long day travelling. For your information, Samatha is a sweetheart. Always smiling and always ready to help. She's a keeper
