Family Friendly Home

We booked this home last minute, as our other rental canceled. Booking on short notice was a stress free experience. The home is as pictured and we loved playing in the pool. Perfectly located between Raymond James Stadium and Busch Gardens.

Great little home

We stayed over spring break, first week of April 2024. House was as expected from the online pictures and it suited our needs. Pros: This house was great for our family of 4 and three additional guests. The upstairs loft has a king and queen bed with a full bath. We had four girls upstairs and the boys stayed downstairs. Beds were comfortable enough, plenty of blankets and pillows. Bedding was clean, the house was mostly clean. Kitchen had necessary items and starter supplies. Nice basket of comfort items was also provided. Clear instructions for everything was easy to refer to. Cons: There isn't really a "hot tub" - it is a separate section that flows into the main pool. The whole pool is kept at the same temperature. This was disappointing since I specifically was looking forward to a hot tub. Kids enjoyed the pool though. The neighborhood was okay...I didn't feel unsafe but we weren't about to take a walk either. Towels provided were good enough, one per person so we had to launder a few times throughout the week. Nicer towels and more of them would be nice. Overall good experience. This was much better than staying in a hotel.

Nice House Questionable Neighborhood

The house was nice and clean. The property managers were good to work with. The pool area is small but perfect for a few people. The neighborhood is very questionable. If you decide to stay check out Bo’s ice cream shop!

Great Place to Stay

This place was great. My first experience with VRBO and it didn’t disappoint. The host had a sweet binder with a lot of great things to do. It was well stocked with things we would need. The decor was very tastefully done. Beds were comfortable as well. We really enjoyed the pool. We also enjoyed the convenience of the zoo.

Would stay here again.

Decorated well. Master on second level, however it was separated pretty well with a king bed and a queen bed. It was perfect for a small family traveling with other guests downstairs. The pool was nice, good space. Inside space was very cozy. It was perfect for our needs.

Very great property

The only downfall was that’s the pool was very cold!! I didn’t see that they turn the heat off certain times of the year but overall a very excellent property

The calm before the storm

First, we had a wait an hour outside because the code was incorrect. Easy mistake which is understandable. When we got in, the place was nicely decorated versus what the pictures online portrayed. Had a lovely time with my husband, kids, and my nieces and nephews. On the last day of our trip, when it was time to check out, it is common courtesy that as a mother, you clean up after yourself and the kids. Coming from upstairs, a woman barged through the front door shouting “You people feel like you are so entitled. Get the f—out. You are trespassing on this property and I’m going to call the cops.” My daughter and I were stunned as this woman continued to curse at us and not allow us to get in any words. We were distraught and frightened by this woman’s language and demeanor. Thankfully, the younger kids were already situated in the car. I would never, ever recommend this location to anyone ever again. It is not family friendly. She claimed that we were wasting her money by sabotaging the clean up crews time. Mind you, the house wasn’t even that clean. From the cobwebs, to the roaches, moldy bathroom, stained bedsheets, and the dead flowers that needed replacing. The management at this property was simply unacceptable and no one should ever be spoken to in that manner. Ever. As a caring mother and human being, I’m still shaken up by the entire experience.

Home away from home

This home was clean, spacious and fully stocked. Beds were comfortable Host was easy to communicate with. I was traveling with my daughter and grandkids and felt completely safe. Would definitely book again!

Could have been much cleaner

The property was okey I have been doing Vrbo for years and this property is the least best I have stayed in. The pool stayed dirty due to not having a cover to block the tree. The cleaners need to do better cleaning and sweeping. The main floor bathroom cleanliness was not good at all.

Wonderful

Our family had a great time at this place. It was super clean with many touches that indicated the desire for guests to enjoy their stay. The pool was warm, though smallish. We are hoping to return.

Great location and a beautiful home!

My friends, husband and I had a wonderful stay. The owners were both very responsive and kind. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The weather and the pool were a great treat. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for our gift basket treat and a great stay!

Awesome property

My entire family enjoyed the stay….your property had everything we needed literally. Great host and great response time while vacationing in your property. I would definitely recommend this place and we are looking forward to coming back to stay there again…..thank you again for everything….I give this property a 10 plus!!!!

Misleading

When we got to the house we thought we were in the wrong neighborhood; the house doesn't look not even close as neat an the one in the listing, the picture of the pool was taken in a way it looks longer than what it is. Found 2 large live rouches the night we got there. "HGTV dream home" MISLEADING, amateur finishes at best. Contacted them after we left just to let them know what we found for their information only, I wasn't going to leave a review to what they reacted in a not so nice way and even telling me the bugs were there because we left dirty dishes when we actually found them the night we got there.

Nice house, owners not so much.

The house was very nice and clean, very spacious with everything you'll need. The Garden View room had some small bugs that made their way to my daughter's belongings on the desk and in her retainer case. The pool is a bit smaller than the pictures lead you to believe but was very refreshing. On the morning of our final day I was awoken early in the morning by some workers that were there to replace a garage door. Unfortunately they were at the wrong home and were supposed to perform work on another home that belonged to the owner of this property. I made the owner aware and instead of being apologetic they apologized that the garage door company had made a mistake not them. The owner then explained that they could do nothing about it that the garage door company had made that mistake but I questioned them as to why the garage door company would even show up at that house or have that address with no response. I enjoyed my stay at the home until the final day which is why I'm giving it a lower rating. There are no issues with the home except for the small bugs and I understand it is Florida so things happen. I did not appreciate being woken up early in the morning by an uninvited service call at the wrong location which is ultimately the owner's fault.

Perfect Family Getaway

Very nice property! The property manager was very responsive to any questions and needs. The property was very roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed cooling off each evening in the pool after busy days.

Friendcation

The house is cute, pretty much looks like the pictures. They have a great thought out book with tips and advice. We are were welcomed with a cute basket. Owner was good about communication. There was an issue the day we were arriving and she informed me and had it handled prior to us getting to the home. It is located literally a few mins from the zoo and not too far off from other attractions we participated in. If you want to use the jets in the pool, they have the switch locked up. You will have to clean the pool pretty often due to the debris and leafs from the trees and palms (they had the tools available). There are quiet hours but the neighborhood didn’t really abide by that, it wasn’t too bad but the two neighbors were having a party or bbq two nights we were there (clearly out of the owners control). I think some new/ non stick or upgraded pans would be a good investment for the kitchen as we love to cook because the pans there weren’t good for breakfast cooking (eggs and bacon). Pretty good stay, I would stay again.
