Cabin in the woods with a hot tub and wi-fi

A well supplies the cabin, and the well water is non-potable and is not for drinking, cooking, food preparation, or any other consumption. Guests must bring their own water for these purposes. By booking and staying at the property, guests acknowledge that the well water is intended only for non-consumption uses, such as showering, handwashing, and dishwashing.

Surrounded by native trees, mountain laurel, fern covered boulders, and a towering 100 ft rock face, you will experience the true beauty of this area. Start your day with a cup of coffee as you sit back in your rocking chairs on the wrap-around deck. After a long day of hiking, relax in the hot tub on the private back deck. Enjoy spending time around the fire pit or inside playing board games and the classic arcade. The cabin has one private bedroom (queen bed) and a loft bedroom (two queen beds) that can accommodate up to 6 people. For digital entertainment, Wi-Fi is available throughout the property or log in the smart TV to access your favorite shows and movies. Located about 10 minutes from the Mountain Parkway and 5 minutes from Natural Bridge State Resort Park, Elk Haven is positioned perfectly for your adventures.

Cave Hollow is a limited access area that requires front wheel drive for access and is not motorcycle friendly.

No pets are allowed to be unattended in the cabin unless crated.

Great location! The property is beautiful and peaceful. It rained most of the time we were there so we appreciated the reliable WiFi. This cabin doesn’t have potable water so make sure to bring some with you for drinking.

Everyting was perfeect, we had a great time and loved the Cabin. Even though we did so many fun things, my daughter said famly time at the Cabin was her favorite part.

House was not very clean. Coffee maker was filthy, glasses had to be washed before using them, and the floor felt not swept. Other than that, this was a good stay.

Great place. Kids loved it. Hiked up the road a bit from the house to a couple of caverns and up the hill above them. Went to the gorge underground. Was a really nice stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a great location.

Cabin close to it all.

Beautiful scenery with mountains just outside your door. Lovely cabin with covered hot tub. Food and activites within just a few miles. Couldn't have asked for better location and accommodations.

This home was perfect for our stay! I gave a 4 star on cleanliness only because the hot tub wasnt the cleanest, but it wasnt terrible either. They arent kidding about the drive being beat with 4WD or AWD! We would absolutely stay again!

Relaxing family time

We enjoyed our stay very much. The facilities were comfortable and the wifi worked well. If you get a chance, definitely take a walk down the rest of the road to see the caves and other cabins.

Very cute place! Perfect for a small group. The biggest thing to prepare for is the driveway as it’s a little tough if you don’t have 4-wheel drive. Also be aware you’re completely in the woods so there might be some insects found inside.

Amazing trip to this beautiful cabin in the woods. Highly recommend staying here. Would recommend you have AWD or FWD to get to cabin as drive is steep.

Great stay with my daughter

My teen daughter and I have gone on many road trips staying in cabins and this was one of our favorites! We love the Red River Gorge and this was a perfect place to stay and enjoy the area. Great hiking and eating nearby, including good restaurants with vegetarian options. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was awesome after hiking. We had a great time.

Great family get away spot

Great property. Quite. Clean. Close to tons of trails and good eats. Recommend 4wheel drive for the road to get to it. Adutls, teens, children, and dogs all loved the place!

Halloween at the cabin in the woods.

We wanted to spend Halloween watching horror movies in a cabin in the woods, and that's exactly what we got. As an added bonus it's very close to many great hiking spots and the hot tub is on its own cool little deck with a beautiful view of the fall leaves.

LOVE!

This cabin is everything you want! Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, super clean & a hot tub! Everything was great & we will come back to stay! We also really loved the games & game table upstairs. The cabin is also really well-situated, not far from town or the trails. The road in is bumpy & we were thankful for my AWD getting in.
