Cute lakefront cottage! We had a great time and it was super dog friendly! It wasn’t as private as we had expected, as other guests were saying in the properties nearby. At times it felt there was little privacy as we were in very close proximity to the other guests. The lake was beautiful and the fire pit was super nice! House was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The check-in process was very smooth and we had great communication with the host.

We truly enjoyed our time here. There was a hiccup with the code on check-in but was quickly addressed. There are some minor repairs that need done but nothing too extreme. The house is cozy. The house was very clean. We would absolutely would come back. The view was fantastic! We were able to watch the sunrise right from the bedroom. The sand is so soft. Just fantastic. You will not regret choosing this place. Also there is a lot of privacy from the other cabins, but you can still socialize if you choose. we enjoyed talking to all of the neighbors I have zero regrets on choosing this place.

You can’t beat the view, but the windows are so dirty it’s difficult to see through them. The blinds in the bathroom have significant, deliberately cut out holes in them with the house next door a few steps away. Can’t imagine how they think that’s acceptable to rent it out like that. I used pillow cases to create curtains. The tub is a deep jacuzzi with jets that look filthy. It’s difficult to open the sliding screen door because there’s no handle so you’re forced to pull with the tape they used to repair the screen. The place feels old and icky

the beach house was very clean and comfortable. I did experience some confusion on how to contact the host because the code we received didn't work and we had to get another code.We really enjoyed walking out the door wall onto the beach every morning.we enjoyed shopping in Tawas is just south of Oscoda.We are looking forward to returning in the near future

Host always responded to messages although we couldn't always fix the issue. Interior was clean but could use some maintenance, wobbly furniture, chipping paint, loose trim. Quaint and simple-everything is mismatch- no two forks or spoons or cups were the same. There were games in the closet and plenty of towels and pillows. Would have been nice to have some basic cleaning rags and spray. Plenty of outdoor seating and beach toys, but also cans and spent firework trash was on the property.

The location is perfect. Nice to have the deck, beach chairs and access to the beach was wonderful. The house itself could use some updating (bathroom/ kitchen) but for the price we paid I’ll accept. Upstairs is hot and doesn’t cool well, you have to have the ceiling fan and the loft fan both on. Cleaning could have been better all around. There seemed to be a lot of hair missed and not clean counter tops in bathroom and kitchen. I’d be prepared to clean some before enjoying your stay. A few small issues that we just accepted as far as the upstairs tv not working, a few outlets not working, and exposed outlets but overall we spent a lot of time outside and enjoyed the amazing views.

Cozy cottage, everything my family needed for our stay. Communication was great with rental team. Loved the beach, view and nighttime fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice location, right in front of the beach of Lake Huron. Sunrise view is spectacular. We did have an issue while there, it was addressed and taken care of.

Oscoda getaway

What a great location! Relaxing views of Lake Huron, sun, beautiful sunrises, long walks on the beach. We had everything we needed (except warmer weather!). I highly recommend this cute beach cottage and would definitely stay here again.

Felt like home but on an amazing beach!

The Beach House was a very cozy cottage on the water. It had everything we needed and wonderful views and access to the beach. If you are looking for a very casual, relaxing time, sleeping to the sounds of the waves, this is the place!

Excellent House & Location

The place was perfect! Super clean, well stocked, very cozy and right on Lake Huron. Communication with owners was excellent and check in & our was very easy. We loved it.

The beach house was not impressive. It needs some simple and low cost updates and some better cleaning. There was a missing outlet cover in the kitchen, the ceiling fan couldn't be turned off, a missing globe on a light fixture, the slider door screen had fallen off, the door to the 2nd floor deck has so much moisture between the glass that you couldn't enjoy the view from that room, there was a large spider web (and spider) in the bedroom, the bathroom vent fan made a horrible noise when you turn it on and the main entry door doesn't seal properly. The view is great but I definitely expected more.

Love this place

We have been here twice now at the Beach House. We absolutely love it and you can't beat the view from the balcony! Kid friendly, clean and comfy! Will definitely nook again!

Perfect Beach Day Location

This was my daughter's favorite spot during our Michigan vacation. We had the section of beach all to ourselves. We enjoyed eating on the back deck and watching the waves roll in. Check in was very easy with the detailed instructions. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beach location for family. Plenty of space on the beach for all the fun in the sun.

Perfect family friendly rental

The location was perfect for our family vaca. We could sit on the couch and watch the kids play in the water or on the playset since they could last a lot longer in the heat than we can 🙂. I had a couple questions and the owner was very responsive. Overall great experience.
