Social Distancing haven! We invite you all to our Lake of the Woods Getaway #2! If you are coming to the area for fishing, hunting, hockey, outdoor activities and more, we've got you covered! The house is located 4.5 miles NW of Baudette on the Winter Road River. Dock located on the property to park your boat! Minutes away by boat or snowmobile to the Rainy River which is a gateway to Lake of the Woods where you will find world class fishing!
This is right through the woods from our other property, Lake of the Woods Getaway #1. Easy access between the two during the warm months! Per County Ordinance, no large events are allowed.

Great fishing trip!

Had an awesome time with friends and family. Nice large place with big yard and very scenic. Place was very accommodating and clean. Would highly recommend and hope to use again!!

LOTW Getaway #2 Review

Short distance from the resorts. Super easy checkin. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs and helpful with any questions we had. Cleanliness of the house could be addressed. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay!

Nice spot!

Went up to do some ice fishing with my buddies this was very convenient . Cabin was a lot bigger than it looked in the photos and renters were easy to work with.

Overall Great Place

Communication was great, had a few minor issues in arrival-due to snow more then anything. Contacted the managers and they responded very fast and took care of the issues.

Excellent place to stay for an ice fishing weekend!!

Savannah and Grant were extremely prompt with all of our inquiries!! The house was spacious and comfortable!! No neighbors were visible, we felt very secluded (which we like!!). The house had everything we needed. Use of the garage for the -30 temps was an added bonus we didn’t know about until we arrived. Thank you so much!! We hope to be back in the future!!

Cleanliness

Place was perfect for 4 couples. Only thing very dirty, looked like they just vacuumed and changed sheets on beds( thanks for that). Few dishes in cupboards were dirty, bathrooms were filthy and didn’t dare turn on ceiling fans because of all the dust on the blades!!

Hidden Gem

Perfect little hideaway yet close to stores, restaurants and parks. The home is bigger than it appears on the photos. Plenty of seating, bedrooms and bathrooms. We were very comfortable as a family of six!

Family Vacation

A great family vacation location. While some family were out fishing, other family were playing in the large yard or fishing off the dock. We all had a wonderful time!!

Quiet and roomy

We had a great trip and stay. What a nice and quiet place and wonderful setting for this up north property. We had plenty of room and was a great place for our group.

Great spot to stay for ice fishing LOTW

Very nice home in a great location for fishing Lake of the Woods. Plenty of space for our group of 6 to spread out, and everything was in good working order. The only very slight issue, was an incredibly slippery front entry stoop at the front door. There are warning signs, but wow, super slippery tile surface.

Winter Fishing

Winter fishing trip with the guys. Plenty of room for 7 of us. Great location and very comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Will definitely stay again.

Grant and I were born and raised in Lake of the Woods! We left for 10 years to attend college and ant then returned home! We couldn't imagine living anywhere else! Let us know if you have any questions or need recommendations!
