River's Bend Cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the Caddo River and the Ouachita Mountains. The views are amazing and the water is so close that you can hear the ripples as it makes its way down the river. The cabin has a dipping pool with a waterfall feature that is open from May through September. There are steps down to the river where there is good swimming or fishing. Perfect vacation cabin

The cabin was super clean and stocked with all the essentials. The view... absolutely beautiful!!! Perfect for that morning coffee. We loved every moment of our stay. The walk down to the river was manageable. The walk up, was a work out, but definitely worth it. This cabin and property was what we needed to get away from normal life. Soooo relaxing. Shout out to the host for their prompt reply with any questions we had.. 5 Stars!!!

Relaxing Getaway!

We enjoyed a long weekend at this cabin celebrating our wedding anniversary. The views are amazing! The inside and outside were super clean. We'll be back next time we want to get away and relax for a few days!

Vacation bliss

The cabin was extremely well built and maintained. It was space efficent and the finished wood was a great touch. They thought of everything. The doors and windows were secure, alot of entertainment and the furniture was very confortable. It was very private and quiet. The amenities were incredible and it was overall the best experience with a cabin rental we have had yet bar none. We can not wait to visit again. It was a piece of heaven.

Excellent with lots of privacy

We took our grandchildren ages 5 and 8. The pool is shallow enough that the kids enjoyed it so much. Waterfall feature so calming. Place is clean and has everything you need. We fished, played in water, threw rocks, enjoyed the sunset and sunrise from the deck, grilled, made s’mores on fire pit. Wonderful trip! Hope to go back soon and maybe rent cabin next door for grown kids and their families

Great for families with kids!

This was the perfect vacation spot for our family and checked all the boxes! The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the river- there is a public access area in Glennwood a short drive away with easier access to the river for young children which we used several days. The views of the Caddo River from the cabin were breathtaking- this was the perfect place to relax and make memories!

this place was amazing. i can even begin to describe the view. it looked like we were in another country in a tropical paradise. i was in awe every time i looked outside. the pac man machine was so fun. house had everything we needed. there’s also a queen size bed in the loft. the pool and waterfall feature so fun!

Lovely Riverside Bend

So glad we found this hidden gem. The views are amazing. I’m confident that the cabin is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. It was very clean inside and out. Sitting in the pool overlooking the mountains with the river below was my favorite part. There are just a few things that are worth mentioning. To access the river below is a trek of cement steps which definitely made getting down and up again easier, but be prepared for the steep incline. The river has currents which make it difficult to get across to the cleared side. We bought rope for our tubes and tied together and once we got across we used rocks to stay put so we could float. It was very nice once you made it. Then have to make it back across and up again. The bedroom doesn’t have AC or a ceiling fan. We made do with using the box fan provided by placing it in the doorway to move some of the cool air from the living area. The kitchen and bathroom had plenty of stock items to get us through our 4 nights. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away with a few other stores and couple of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and I’ve recommended this cabin to several family and friends already. Thank you!!

The property was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. It had everything we needed to feel at home and my 20 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter absolutely loved it. We are already talking about wanting to go back.

Top notch getaway cabin!

Have vacationed at this cabin each spring for many years and it never fails to be a wonderful stay. The location, the cleanliness of the property and cabin, and the facilities of the cabin (including deck and pool) make for a most wonderful experience. Can’t wait to make the trip again next spring!

This place is one of a kind, an absolute gem!

Every about the experience was second to none. The owner is especially caring, thoughtful, and great with communication. The facility is immaculate, with all the amenities and then some. I can’t say enough, but let’s just say this cabin is highly recommended. There is no question we will be back, hopefully soon!

Great spring break getaway with teens

Perfect cabin for our spring break trip. I had three 13yo boys in the loft. The cabin had everything we needed, even salt and pepper! The boys liked having their own space and loved s'mores on the firepit each night. The view is beautiful and I would not hesitate to come back.

A precious gem with a glorious view! The only downfall was the master bedroom mattress. It has a huge dip in the middle and needs replacing. Other than that, this little home away from home will meet all of your needs! It was extremely clean and well-stocked with the basics. The video game was a bonus! Don’t bring extra blankets, the heater is amazing!!! The fire pit was perfect for s’mores after a long day of crystal mining. The sound of the flowing creek was pure serenity! We would absolutely come back to this cabin again!!!

Beautiful View/Relaxing

This is our second time to stay here. Very clean. Beautiful view of the Caddo River. We could relax on the porch all day long, looking at the river, hearing the water, and listening to the birds. At night, when the sky is clear, the stars are amazing. We could even hear an owl close by. I recommend staying here.

Rivers Bend is a short drive from Glenwood on a quite part of the river. It's on a bluff overlooking the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the river is directly below, the sounds of the water rippling is very peacful. Rivers Bend has one of the most beautiful views on the river and is the only lodging on the river that has its own heated dipping pool with a waterfall. ( Open from May through September ).
