Colleen, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. This area is so special to so many. I'm glad you have been able to share it with the next generations. Having the grandkids observe frog eggs, tadpoles and frogs - and learning how they develop has always had an appeal for me, as I recall learning about that at about the same age as your granddaughter. Dave and I absolutely look forward to having you come again. Stop in anytime.

It is amazing how many things there are to do in our area. In my youth, my own family would travel to Clarksville/Pittsburg. I would come thinking I would be bored only to find out I didn't want to leave once I got here. So whether it's kayaking or waterfalls... or nature trails, fishing, ATVs, snowmobiles, covered bridges, bird watching, antiquing, craft sales, historic sites, farms, moose or other wildlife - these are only some of the many outdoor activities. This year alone we've enjoyed watching frog eggs hatch in the pond and grow from polliwogs to adult frogs. As a kid, I recall also staying indoors playing family games or building jigsaw puzzles. This area really is a place just to slow down and "breathe" a little slower. So Deborah, we are glad you and Sherry were able to enjoy your stay and unwind. Sometimes it's nice to just go with the flow and not have to follow any particular plan. That's the beauty of a true vacation.

Michael, we enjoyed your stay. It was very nice to hear about the trail conditions and your adventures. We're glad you had the chance to see the deer in the back yard as well. Along with you, we will look forward to next season.
