Deep creek

We had a great time. House is beautiful clean was well stocked on anything you need in the kitchen. Having 3 coffee pots, 2 stoves with ovens, 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers was great. Especially with large parties. It did have a few thing's that needed replacement or repaired. But i would definitely go back

Great with Friends

This house had all the appropriate accommodations for a large group of adult friends to spend a long weekend. Very much enjoyed the location and all the amenities offered.

Great house we would stay here again

Plenty of room for our large group and the house is in great condition. Checking in and out was simple, and the hosts were very responsive to questions before our stay.

Friends get together

This place was perfect for my friends to get together from all over in a central location. The hosts are very responsive when had questions during the stay. Has plenty of room for a large group ! 100% recommend !

Not Totally Good, needs repairs

The Barb b Que grill did not work which we discovered after putting our food on to cook fro dinner. , one bedroom has a missing smoke alarm (this is violation of local fire code) and several tv's were not working, rating 4 out of 5

Lake vacation

The house needs major updating. Mattresses were uncomfortable and almost everyone made comments about how uncomfortable the beds were. There were two refrigerators, 2 microwaves, 2 stoves, 2 ovens, etc. kitchen appliances were more than adequate. However, the frying pans were awful, as well as the types of pots. Many dead bugs on outside of windows. In fact, plants were growing in the rain spouts. Outside floor on deck and steps should be painted. Very small showers upstairs. May also be small downstairs, but no one complained. There were 7 bedrooms, so everyone had a room. I have trouble with steps, so I loved the bedroom and bath on the main or first floor. House was great for large groups. It was on the lake, but it was hard to see the lake because of the trees. I really felt that for the price, the house should have been cleaner and should have been in better condition. Red barn has nothing to do with the condition of the house, and they did an excellent job with check in and check out. Told me ahead of time codes and what to do before checking out.

Great. family house, perfect for 21 person family reunion

Great accommodation, perfect location directly on the lake. The house had two stoves , two dishwashers, and two fridges. Amble parking and wonderful hot tub. I should also add that compared to other rentals on the lake, this house was within our budget. Well done all.

A Wonderful Celebration Getaway

We chose the UnWined property because we had a large gathering of families for the WVU Commencement ceremony. It was definitely large enough and close enough for what we needed. I know that everybody had a comfortable stay. Overall, there were little things that could have been improved upon (age of furniture, mattresses, appliances), but nothing detracted from the stay. We had one infant, one set of elderly parents, and everything in between, and everybody had plenty of space and things to do throughout our getaway. We would all stay here again. Our hosts were very engaged during the stay as they checked in to confirm the comfort of our stay. Phone signals were hit and miss.....just be prepared to disconnect (not always a bad thing).

Realxing

Plenty of space for food and cooking space with 2 of every kitchen appliance... Place was clean and ready on time.. I was very impressed how fast responses were with anything we needed. Communication was excellent. We will definitely recommend for future vacations. Access the the lake was easy, fire pit was well kept. And the location is amazing!

Great place to stay all year round.

The house was great. Plenty big for all of us and clean. I would say the outside of the house could use some care. Maybe a good power washer would help and window cleaning. The property manager was amazing. We had two small issues and they came to fix it immediately. Would also recommend the house in the summer as it has great Lake access. Beautiful views too.

Unwined- Deep Creek Lake

The house was very clean. The Hot Tub was cleaned and serviced the day before we arrived. It was as advertised. We didn’t have any major problems or complaints. All of the amenities worked as they should, and we had a great stay.

Kitchen was inadequately stocked with utensils and number of dishes etc -- baking trays should be trashed -- owner should be aware of possible tub or toilet leak in bathroom on main floor -- flooring is starting to give when walked on -- could be a major issue in the future, just a fyi.

Good house for large groups

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at Unwined. Very comfortable beds with high quality and very clean linens. Very nice bath towels and plentiful. We appreciated the double kitchen appliances for our large group. Wish there was dining seating option for 20 as the house sleeps 20. We brought a folding table and chairs to make up the difference. Very prompt response every time when communicating with Lori at Red Barn - thank you! We really enjoyed the lovely firepit and outside furniture. Our only criticism was of the kitchen which is, unfortunately, the most-used room throughout the day. Many items in the cabinets had to be washed prior to use, including dishes, glasses and pots and pans that were greasy or had visible or cooked-on food. Overall, it seemed there were missing essential kitchen items. One example - there were only 12 coffee cups for a house with 20 beds. We had 19 people - had to take turns. Perhaps this is a factor of renting at the end of the busy summer season but for these reasons, I can only give 4 stars.

Excellent!

We had a great time, everything was as described which I really appreciated, and the instructional emails were very clear and easy to follow. The house was beautiful and worked perfectly for our group. The location on the lake was perfect, and the proximity to town made it easy for everyone to do what they wanted.

Summer Lake vacation

Fantastic location. Kids loved it. Rented boats and kayaks next door at Silver Tree. Close to honk honk bar and little grocery store. House had nice bedrooms. Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Dock is shared with several houses but fun for the kids. Would definitely do it again.

Great for our large family - fantastic location!

We LOVED our stay at Unwined! Our family of 20 ranging from grandparents to college age, teenagers all the way to a 2 year old. Everyone had enough space. The kitchen amenities of multiple appliances was a big help as we mostly cooked our meals. The lake front location steps away from the boat slip and lake entry were absolutely perfect. We had everything we could have possibly needed and I would love to come back and stay again!

Excellent!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Unwined. We discovered a metal bed was broken on the first night. Red Barn replaced the bed the next day. Also, the washing machine didn't work on the first load so it was also replaced the same day. Red Barn responded very quickly to our problems. Unlike other houses, there is a nice area down by the dock to put paddle boards and kayaks and also for the little ones to swim. I would suggest purchasing some new fry pans. Those in the house have been well used. The house was clean and very comfortable and lots of seating on the deck.

Ski Weekend

Your company was vey excellent to work with! Every time I needed a question answered it was done immediately and you were all extremely professional. The house was PERFECT for our family of 12 including some adult grandchildren. The Wisp ski resort was in really good shape considering the weather we've had and we all had some great family time together. Our only complaint was the hot tub pump breaking right before we got there. Must be hard to get parts in that area?? Maybe it should be checked at the beginning of a holiday weekend instead of the end.........
