Comfortable, bright, perfect location, just four houses away from the beach! This cozy getaway is clean, well appointed, and well equipped with everything you need for a fun and stress-free stay.

Ideally located by the ocean in Ocean Bay Park. Only 4 houses to the beach and a short walk to the ferry terminal, area restaurants/bars, market; 10 minute bike ride to another community with more restaurants, movie theater, ice cream shops.

Great location. Amenities are all as listed. House is definitely more rustic - so if you are looking for posh and updated this isn’t for you, but if you want close to beach and private and like the old time fire island feel this house is that. It was our second year staying here - we love it

This beach house was an absolute gem! We loved that it was wonderfully, authentically dated—the original wood paneling from the build is still there, and honestly, it adds SO much charm and character. It gave the house a fun, nostalgic beach vibe that really enhanced our stay.The back sitting area is pure magic—so peaceful and serene—and the front deck is the perfect spot to soak up the beach-house atmosphere. And the location? Perfect. Just a quick stroll to the beach!If you love a place with personality, history, and that classic beach-town feel, this spot is a winner. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back!

Great little old school house on Fire Island that was super close to the beach and the ferry. Only issue was the towels provided were 6 bath towels for 6 people, but only one washcloth and one hand towel. The outside seating was very nice and there were beach chairs and bikes the host said we could use. Overall we would stay again.

We had a very nice stay and enjoyed the classic, old-school Ocean Bay Park cottage feel of the house. The location was great—only about 4–5 houses from the beach—and we especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and outdoor seating areas. The three bedrooms worked well for us, and having an outdoor shower was a nice Fire Island bonus. We also appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas, and two bikes available for guests.The house was generally clean and comfortable. A couple of small things to be aware of: the window A/C units could use a thorough cleaning, particularly for anyone sensitive to dust or allergies. The TV is also an older setup, so if streaming is important, you may want to bring your own streaming device. One bath towel per person was provided, so definitely bring your own beach towels.Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in a great location and a nice Ocean Bay Park experience.

Charming cottage at the beach

Elliot’s home was exactly as pictured, as cozy, charming cottage in Ocean Bay Park just a few doors down from the beach. It included everything we needed from sheets on the beds, towels, and beach chairs. Perfect for a beach vacation as it’s a quick walk from the ferry and not far from delicious seafood restaurants and vacation shops. Definitely look forward to coming back!

Fire Island Getaway

We had a lovely time in Ocean Bay Park! House has a great location and nice rustic/artsy vibe. Nicer than the pictures, private garden space outside and well equipped. Host is pleasant and communicative. We will definitely be back.

Great location. Cute beach house. Def bring your own beach towels, he onlyLeaves one bath towel on each bed. There was no soap, shampoo and conditioner in outdoor shower, I had to buy some and then realized there were small bottles in the inside shower. Very strict w the number of guests that visit during the day. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday w family and friends and he was aware of how many people were in and out of the house. He stays a few houses away. Only sleeps 6. Great screened in porch. Nice outdoor shower. Couldn’t find the washer dryer for a while. Finally found it in the back of the house, outside in a closet. Very strict 3 pm check in and 11 am check out. Was hoping to have a relaxing few days, it wasn’t as relaxing as we would have liked. Left one roll of paper towels. Unfortunately it rained for 3 days so we couldn’t enjoy the beach. We will be renting back at OB next summer.

Great location

The location is perfect just a few houses from the beach and the house is old school Fire Island very quaint this is our 4th time here. The furniture, mattresses and linens are well overdue for replacement. There is a new stove and one TV but no Netflix. The house needs a real good cleaning to get rid of cobwebs and dust found under beds. The front patio is very nice with plenty of furniture and a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas to use. The washer and dryer work well which was good because we were only given one bath towel each for the week. It’s a sweet house but needs some TLC.

Great House in a Great Location

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. It’s exactly as pictured on the inside. The outdoor images do not do it justice! The decks, gardens, and screened in porch were amazing! The gardens all light up at night with solar lights, so pretty!
