Located just 15 minutes from I-95 and Bangor International Airport in a quiet neighborhood overlooking peaceful Hermon Pond.

This spacious second-floor studio has on-site parking, private entrance w/deck, queen-sized bed, bathroom w/shower, kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. Sit on your deck or at the kitchen table and enjoy the tranquility Maine has to offer. Roku TV and internet are available.

Kayaking, canoeing, (kayaks and canoe available for free on site) fishing, and snowmobiling with trails connecting to ITS 84 and 82 are just outside the door. Private boat landing is available for your use.

We are one hour from beautiful Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island and one hour from majestic Baxter State Park in Millinocket.
We are 30 minutes from the Penobscot Narrows Bridge (tallest bridge observatory in the world) and historic Fort Knox in Prospect.
And there are miles of local hiking trails closer to home.

Bangor and Brewer are the twin cities of Penobscot county and are just a short drive away. They offer museums, shopping, a casino, great restaurants, bakeries, farmer’s markets, local breweries and pubs in vibrant downtowns.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hermon Pond Studio. The apartment was very clean and quiet with a nice view of the pond and all the critters that inhabit or visit it. Sonya is the quintessential host, very kind and knowledgeable, always accessible for any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!

The property was easy to find. Close to shopping but also quiet and peaceful. The apartment was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The view is absolutely amazing and wildlife is always in eye shot. I dislike giving it 5 stars simply because I'd like to keep it available for myself. LOL I am looking forward to sraying here again

Great little studio on small lake

Excellent host! Responded to all inquiries quickly. Small studio with views of pond in back yard. Small but very comfortable, clean and quiet.

Best stay

We loved our 2 night stay at this studio. The studio was clean especially the bathroom! We are very particular about bathrooms so this is a five star! :) we had a relaxing stay just by looking at the pond and before we go I got to enjoy the swing there while looking at nature. If we ever go back to Maine, will definitely book this again.

Our Magical Little Experience✨

Had the best time here. The studio was clean and had everything we needed. The views looking onto the lake were beautiful. Sonya was so welcoming, friendly and made our check in so easy. Safe to say we will be coming back for our next visit up north!

So Relaxing

Herman Pond is a beautiful, relaxing location for enjoying nature and all the Bangor area has to offer. Sonia is a wonderful host, and the garage apartment was just right for my husband and me.

Great vacation

We really enjoyed our time at Hermon Pond. Early morning coffee by the water and kayaking later in the day. Sonya was a great host and the apartment was splendid. You could hear the loons and mallards through the window.

Another Great Stay

Love this cozy studio. Nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and taking walks before starting our day.

Peaceful retreat after a month of traveling.

My stay at the pond was perfect , peaceful, access to everything yet a remote feeling. Sonya was lovely and clearly loved her home. i would have liked to know her better. thank you. it was the perfect ending to a month of memorable travel!

Perfect Maine Getaway Spot!

We had a delightful stay in this charming, perfectly appointed studio. The location was a good launching point for getting to Baxter State Park as well as Bar Harbor. When we weren’t out and about, we appreciated the total privacy and the gorgeous, peaceful pondside location. We were delighted by the little details left for guests. Sonya is easily the best VRBO host we’ve had yet.

Staying at Hermon Pond at Sonya's place was a wonderful experience. She is very welcoming and considerate. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and the view was spectacular. We will definitely go back to this location when we come to Maine again. It was just like being at home. Sonya had the kitchen supplied with coffee and even a bouquet of flowers on the table. ***************

Gorgeous property

Perfect example of a true maine experience! The house and yard are beautiful and in a really nice quiet neighborhood. The host gave a warm and lovely hello then we didn’t see anybody again the rest of our stay. Over looks the water inside and out. We are already planning our next trip there. Thanks so much sonya!

Maine Get away

The studio apartment was very clean and in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. The beds mattress could have been of higher quality. However this is not enough to turn me away from renting this place again.

Peaceful and quiet

Sonja’s place was super clean, really really quiet, and quaint. we could see lots of stars at night in her remote location. She was very helpful in making recommendations of places to see in the area. We had our own private entrance, and the check in/out process was super easy. Great place to stay.
