The Carriage house is adorable, filled with many small interesting touches. The property is also in easy walking distance to Roger Williams park and a short drive to many attractive areas.

We are more than thrilled with the carriage house!! The property is beautiful and we loved having the pool on such a hot weekend!! Steve was extremely responsive to any of my messages. I cannot stress how perfect this was. We will be back!!

This was such an amazing property. The hosts were perfect. They really paid attention to details and even had fresh flowers and cookies/candies for us on the table. Very clean an so easy to get to Providence. The neighborhood is beautiful. My husband and I stayed with our basset hound and he loved it too. Thank you!

Wonderful Base for RI vacation

The carriage house was a wonderful base for our RI vacation. The hosts were beyond welcoming; Moon the golden lab was a special treat. We loved it!

The Carriage House was lovely ….and the Hosts were lovelier!!! It was very very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The shared back yard with a pool was beautifully landscaped and very quiet. We had little sitting area right outside our door in the back yard.One of our daily highlights was having Moon, the hosts dog visit us. She was so very friendly. If she was outside when we returned from being out she would greet us every time! The location is very close to Roger William’s Park which is a gorgeous park that offers a lot of activities. We took a few walks in the park while we were there and ran across a Gardner tending to a gorgeous community organic garden in the park! My favorite coffee shop Seven Stars in Providence opened a location 2 blocks away which was a nice surprise. There is also very easy access to the highway. It was just lovely!!! We are so happy we found this spot and will likely stay there again next year.

The hosts were so kind, hospitable and communicative. The place itself was lovely and allowed for easy access to downtown Providence and other neighborhoods. We look forward to our next visit. This was truly the perfect place to stay.

Immaculate comfortable and quiet stay at a beautifully renovated old carriage house. Proximity to everything you could need, and quick drive to downtown Providence.

House is easy to live in and ideal for a pet. Downstairs is veneer flooring so its easy to keep clean. A comfortable sitting/TV room is upstairs. Host is very responsive and easy to work with; they offer a detailed sights/maps/suggestions book. A clean very large park with flowing water is 1/2 block away. Nice bakery, CVS, restaurants are all walking distance from the house. Grocery store is 1-2 miles from house. Easy access to freeways.

Exactly as described…. the host was extremely responsive. We were met with chocolate and biscotti which was a great touch! Very close to acquaint town everybody was super nice and the place was nicely decorated. Plenty of towels and soaps, showerhead good water pressure, which is really important for me. Lol great place to go walking and get some exercise. If you’re into that then you must go to Basta for a great Italian meal.

Carriage House on Historic property filled with artwork

Thank you for offering this great place for our visit to RI. Kitchen was well appointed and the upstairs living area and sleeping space were filled with interesting art pieces. Nice yard for canine travelers too. Convenient location to Providence and 95. Very enjoyable stay.

This was an awesome property to stay at. The historic home was so clean and beautiful. It had everything that we needed to be comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches and communication with Steve was prompt and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for better and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We chose this property because they allowed our dog to stay and it was the perfect choice for us. The location is great. The house itself is just beautiful. It was so nice to have a place to ourselves and our dog was so comfortable. Moon, the owner’s dog, was a great playmate, too! No need to consider another property for your Rhode Island stay.

Perfect

This was our second stay. The historic property is clean, beautiful and so comfortable. There were treats and fresh flowers when we arrived. We had all of the amenities that we needed and a few extra just in case. I can’t say enough about our host and this place. We will absolutely stay here again and again.

Comfy yellow cottage

The cottage is spacious for 2 people. It is very comfortable and easy to navigate to and from in a quiet neighborhood. It is well appointed. We chose it to have access to the south and west. The resident lab is friendly and likes head scratches.

Wish I had time to write more. These folks were great. Our fault we had a little snafu with mistaking the checkout time, and the hosts were very gracious about our mistake.Property has pretty much everything you need to stay at night or longerNice and clean great neighborhood.

We loved the hosts and it was great that we could bring our dog - who got on great with their dog Moon - who was super cute - fenced in yard which is always a plus for dogs to play - we had a great experience there - Our daughter loved it and made friends with their daughter too - Great pool also - whats no to love - will go back soon - looking forward to it. xxx

Lovely Carriage House

The Carriage House was quaint and comfortable. The owners were responsive to the issues that arose during my 2 week stay. They even mailed me some items that I had left behind. The property was peaceful and exactly what I needed to assess the area for a possible move.

Rodger Williams Park, the "Jewel of Providence," is a 435 acre oasis in the heart of the city and only steps away from the Carriage House. The park boasts a world class zoo, a Museum of Natural History, boat house, the stunning all-marble "Temple to Music," lovely public art, miles of walking, biking, and hiking paths, and so much more. It's such a joy to have the park at the end of our street. In the other direction is Narragansett Bay and Pawtuxet Village, a quaint 16th century enclave that is one of the cradles of the American Revolution. 5 minutes in the car and you are at any of our universities, hospitals, or restaurants for which Providence is rightfully famous. We love our neighborhood!
