The Red Fox Cabin - Urban Retreat

This urban cabin has all the feels of a cabin in the woods with the convenience of being in The Borough ! Less than 10 minutes from downtown and minutes away from The Coliseum, Shopping, Golf and great Restaurants.
This cabin housed the offices of my father (Carolina Fibres, Federal Waste Paper and Triad Paper Recycling) and my husband (Roger Fisher, CPA) for years! We hope to continue as a business and offer expert hospitality in our great town of Greensboro!

Zoo trip

We had a great time, the house was perfect for our group. Short drive to the zoo and the Greensboro Science Center. Very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful setting, great house

Great house for our family attending Elon graduation. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Everything we needed and the media room recliners are awesome!

Great place, close to highways.

Our family (6 of us) had a great time here. Plenty of space. Everyone on 1 floor. The owner was very accommodating to our plans, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nationals Trip

My family was in town for the YMCA short course Nationals meet. We had a lovely stay. The house was in the perfect location for us. Lots of room for family time doing puzzles and watching TV. Great house we hope to be back next year!!

Cottage by the city

Great clean spaces close to everything. No TV in the bedrooms if thats a thing for you. Awesome ans quiet area. Would book again for sure!

Soccer weekend

This place was very nice and clean, we stayed their for a soccer tournament that was happening in town. The kids enjoy the media room. The place was very spacious and homey.

Greensboro Getaway

Nice place to stay while our son competed in Ninja Worlds competition! Everyone had their own space and the living areas were great. The place was clean and well stocked. Would return!

Amazing Cabin

My family really enjoyed our stay here in the cabin. Place was super cleaned, the beds where really comfortable and we all slept like newborn babies. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, and Ashley is there for you if you need anything. We will be back soon…..

A wedding weekend

We loved this cabin!! It was perfect for my family..there were 5 adults, a 4 year old and a 10 mo old. Ashley was great to work with. Everything we went to over the weekend was between 10-20 minutes away..so a perfect location for us!!

Quiet cabin

We were very happy to stay on this property for the weekend! Nice couples getaway. It was a lot bigger than we anticipated! Very clean and very quiet, considering it's not far from I-40 - thought we would hear traffic, but it was really quiet! Good communication with manager. Would stay here again!

Elon Visit

We loved the cottage and appreciated how clean it was! It was a great location for us as it was only 20 minutes from Elon and a few minutes from downtown Greensboro. We plan to stay here again as our daughter is an Elon alum and our son is a current student. Ashley was very responsive and helpful and the cabin was great.

I am 57 and live on the outskirts of Greensboro in Julian. I have two grown sons and a stepdaughter in Wilmington. I love hospitality and hosting! We have two other properties that I manage, one of which I host events. I love cooking, reading and enjoying my family and dogs.

This property housed the offices of my Father’s Company , Carolina Fibre Corporation and my husband’s company, Roger Fisher, CPA. We lost these two awesome men about ten years ago. We want to continue to run as a business by providing a unique setting for guests to stay that are visiting in the area.

This log cabin is so convenient to just about everything in Greensboro and still has the feel of a quiet retreat. There are a couple of businesses on our street but it still remains quiet and peaceful!
