A single bed room log cabin Includes a fully-stocked kitchen, full bathroom and comfortable living room, this cabin will meet all your needs. Very Comfortable Cabin

This cabin is very clean, comfortable and great location. Everything was great. Will be staying here again.

The cabin was nice and private even though its on a loop with other cabins. Only complaint is you can barely open the fridge enough to get your arm in.

Nice cabin

The cabin was in decent condition. The fridge doesn’t open all the way so it was difficult to put in food. Overall, good cabin with great decorations.

Stuff

Overall was ok but a few things not real good the fridge door hit wall couldn’t open one side the couch had no legs so close to floor hard to get up hardly any grass for dogs to do their business could use better lighting in bathroom by the shower the rest was ok. Also didn’t like being on dirt roads.

Cozy Little Cabin

Cabin was clean and just as pictured! Fridge was a bit hard to open on the right side due to it being too big for spot. You can't open it much more than to get your arm in due to it being right next to the wall, but, we didn't let that bother us too much. Other than that everything was perfect! We would stay again.

Besides the spotty internet and the hot tub cover sliding off the back of the deck it was a great time.

Enjoyed our stay!

This was our 3rd cabin through Avenwood, and just like the other two, we enjoyed it for our 2 night stay. The cabin was small, and cozy for just the two of us. The hot tub was clean, and relaxing especially with the cool down pour of rain we received our last night. We found the bed comfortable, as it was a thick memory foam mattress. The cabin had everything we needed. Will be back

It was a nice little getaway

Everything looked great besides the dishes left for guest to use weren’t very clean looking. Overall a nice stay for our anniversary.

Lovely getaway

Beautiful property in the woods. The sign says “simply serene” and staying at buckeye hut truly was. Lovely place to get out of town and connect with nature. Do recommend 4 wheel drive if you are expecting snow though, drive in is a gravel road that is a little icy in winter

Great little cabin!

Very nice and clean! Hope to go back soon! Only thing negative I have to say is that the phone number listed to contact the manager is invalid so I had to message through Vrbo because I had trouble finding the cabin. Other than that everything was great and the manager was very quick to reply to my message! thank you very much!

Nice place! Hot water tank didn’t work for shower, also gave us the wrong code so check in was rough

We had to take cold showers due to hot water tank not working. Tried to call and get assistance, but no answer.

Not happy

Advertised as having wifi. The wifi did not work. Could not connect to the internet or send\reveive texts or phone calls. Called the property manager and asked them to look at the wifi and got a message back asking "What Wifi". No other response. Also displeased with the lack of cooking utensils. Wanted to make brownies but there was not any bowls bigger than a cereal bowl. Cooking pans were old and stained in old grease. The grill was about a 12" kettle grill. Couldn't cook a whole meal on that. My biggest issue was the wifi. We had a pregnant daughter at home and that is why I choose this cabin so that we would to be able to receive calls\texts and then the lack or response to the issue.

Peaceful and serene

I absolutely adored the Buckeye hut. The theme was pure Buckeye, Ohio State buckeyes… It was very clean and cozy. I enjoyed the porch in the evening and the morning listening to nothing but nature, which is exactly what I went for. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend!!

Bittersweet

Besides the drive through a very rough and sketchy back road (community) and numerous messages sent to host with no reply for a week the cabin was enjoyable but in a rundown location.

Hocking Hills Weekend

It was very rustic. Perfect for what we were looking for. Hot tub was good. Great fire pit. Technology/internet was a bit sketchy.
