Bethel Village Christian Retreat sits on 36 acres. Located on the property is this listing; Genesis House, which is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a 20x20 screened-in porch. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to feel right at home. There is also a 3 1/2 acre pond, a walking trail, and so much more! The grounds are beautiful with trees, shrubs, and flowers. Fishing, paddle boating, cycling, and walking trails are available!

Great experience!

The Genesis House provided a great stay & the grounds of Bethel Village Retreat are very peaceful & enjoyable. Mrs. Brenda & George are wonderful hosts and we will definitely visit again.

Truly a Blessing

I would have given Brenda's place 10 stars if it was possible. We had a family event and needed a place that would be close to our relatives, clean and spacious for us. We had that and more. Brenda's place was extremely clean, welcoming, and spacious, and we felt secure. We had all we needed, from clean bedrooms, lots of clean towels, bathrooms with shampoo, both wash, a very organized kitchen, and closet space. The home was amazing, impeccable and spotless. We felt at home. The home was just as advertised and there were no surprises. Brenda had snacks and juice bottles in the fridge, which was a welcoming surprise after a long trip. It was a pleasure to spend time at her retreat. If we have more family events in the future, we will for sure come back again! Exceptional hosts and a great place to stay.

Wonderful

The Genesis House was the perfect spot for myself and two teenagers. The property was clean and as described. Communication was timely, and the hosts were wonderful! The fishing, paddle boat, kayak, and fire pit were all amazing. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Come and unwind at this gem in the heart of Georgia.

Heavenly retreat

What an amazing place to visit! The house had everything our family of six needed. It was very clean & beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed the awesome landscape, firepit, and fishing.Great people make great hosts which describes Brenda & George completely.They were quick to respond & very friendly.

Perfect place to unwind

Brenda & George are the perfect hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. The home is ultimately clean and warmly furnished. The rural setting is very peaceful and stress-free and includes a beautiful lake view. Be advised, you will travel a couple miles of graded/unpaved road to get to the property but every inch is well worth the trip.

My family spent a week at this lovely property. The house was clean and Brenda was a wonderful host. The property is beautiful. We will always try and stay there when we come back to visit.

Eastman Family Reunion

We could not have asked for a better property, host and setting for our visit to Eastman. Brenda was so attentive, the house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It truly was a wonderful weekend.

Our stay was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed fishing and our walk through the woods. The house was very nice and comfortable. Our host was thoughtful and quick to respond.

Peace and Calm

Hidden gem of a getaway in Dodge County. The Genesis was everything as described. Brenda was a superb hostess, quick to respond and very helpful. All the amenities a group five would need. The house is plenty spacious and immaculate. Morning coffee overlooking the calm, peaceful pond was an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing

The home, property, lake, gazebo, playground and paddle boat were Fantastic! One my most appreciated aspects of the home was... NO tv in the home. No distraction from the Beautiful nature and fishing, spending good quality time with family. This stay was rejuvenating and gave us a new appreciation for Country living. We will definitely plan another stay here. The hosts went above and beyond and we are grateful!

Peaceful

This is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet! The only reason I gave it 4 stars for location was because of the dirt roads to get there. It is in the piney woods. We did however learn a different way to go to get out that didn't require so many dirt roads. The house is amazing! Every convenience you could possibly want or need. If I had one criticism it would be to put towel hooks by the shower. We love George and Brenda. They are amazing Godly people. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice cozy place to spread out and hang out with family that lived in the area but don't have room for us. much better than a hotel room and not much more in price. The house was decorated so nicely and felt homely. I loved it!

Wonderful weekend spent with family.

We had a wonderful weekend with our family and truly enjoyed our stay at the Genesis house. I have never had better hospitality extended to my family then what we received from our host. I would defiantly be honored to stay here again. My husband and I were talking and we were amazed at the peaceful spirit that surrounds the home and how comfortable and inviting it is. We were traveling with a 3 year old and a 2 year old who are both very active and of course curious about new thing. There are a lot of table top decorations siting around which are beautiful but with small children that can be very challenging to keep them from wanting to touch or play with things that are not meant to be played with. We spent a lot of our time out on the screened in porch and outside so the kids could be free to run and play which was nice but the temperature was a bit cool at times. I would say that the house is more geared to a bit older children however that does not change my high review of our stay or the host.

Such a wonderful experience

This home is exactly as pictured! Stunning and such a cute, cozy home! We had everything we needed, and MORE! The complimentary pizza and drinks after a 15 hour drive was such a delight! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Family Get Together

Brenda and George are great host. They are there spiritually for you. Brenda prayed on the house before our visit and for us during our stay. Thanks Brenda They are readily available if anything is needed. The property is as described. The house is very neat and clean. The pond adds to the serenity of the property. It was the perfect place to visit with family and catch up after the past 18 months of the virus. I wasn't sure about not having TV. Not having a TV made the visit with family even better. The property is remote enough to give the impression of being distant from distractions and close enough to Eastman for any needs. Brenda, George thanks for a wonderful stay

Fantastic place to stay!

This is a beautiful house! I loved the way it was decorated, the floor plan, and especially the screened-in back porch! The furnishings were very comfortable and arranged in a way to encourage conversation. We had everything we needed. Our grandchildren loved the swings, the pond, and walking around the property. It's out in the country, but only 4 miles from the nearest Walmart. Loved it! We'll be back!

Beautiful, Serene Getaway!

Beautiful home, beautiful property, gracious hosts! Long walks on the beautifully landscaped property; paddle boating; enjoying the fire pit at night; great nights sleeping in the super comfortable beds! Biking; fishing; enjoying relaxing in the beautiful home and on the screened in porch. Each of us did as little or as much as we wanted and had a great long weekend!
