It was stocked with anything & everything you need. Every time I went looking for something, I eventually found it. The driveway could use some attention.

Great place to getaway and relax, yet near great food and Lake Michigan for a day trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved how private and quite it was. When you first turn on to the dirt road/driveway you will think you are lost and going the wrong way. You are not! Follw the road and it opens up into the driveway/parking area. It is set back a lttile away from the road but is very pretty and private. The property and house are true to the description as advertised. Brad was an excellent host. He responded quickly and was very pleasant to deal with. The house was very cozy and there is plenty of space. The stairs feel a little steep when going up and down them so be mindful if you have younger children or older guests. There is one bedroom downstairs that has a queen bed and enough room for a playpen or air mattress for younger children. There is a downstairs bathroom with a shower. There a bedroom and a loft with a private door upstairs with queen beds and one bathroom with a shower/tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We had 6 adults, 1 child, and a dog in our group and stayed a week. We could have used more bath towels and wash clothes but there is a washing machine and dryer so it was no problem doing laundry throughout our stay. It was pretty central to everywhere we needed to be and wanted to go. There was plenty of space for local family and friends to visit us and games and movies and plenty of outdoor space for the kids. We would definitely book/stay here again.

Great Property With Excellent Location

The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for my dogs and they absolutely loved it! Most importantly as a single woman traveling and someone originally from Kalamazoo this house is one of the few vacation rentals listed that is truly in a safe area!!

Great place to stay. Only reason I didn’t give full stars is the listing said there is a hot tub, which there is not.

Great Wedding Home-Base

My family stayed at this property to be close to The Gathering event property in Allegan for our daughter's wedding. This was the perfect location to be close to the event and also have a relaxing atmosphere pre and post-wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely try to book this again if we attend another event in the area.

This was such a fun place to stay! Very secluded - we never saw and almost never heard the road or neighbors, and we did see a lot of wildlife. The house is close to hikes, cute towns, and about 40 minutes from some very nice beaches. We would definitely stay again, hopefully for longer! As a parent I'll note that one of the bedrooms has a lookout window over the downstairs area, which is open. It could be dangerous for more rambunctious kids, but worked out alright for us.

Wonderful house surrounded by woods

The house was modern and very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The best part was that the house and yard were in the middle of a wooded lot with trees all around and gave us the impression that no one was around or nearby. It was perfect. Just a little short drive through the trees and then it opened up to the house and lot. Our dog loved the property. The house had large windows to look out and the back porch was nice for sitting outside and relaxing. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The bed we used was super comfy and also had a standing fan if needed. The couch and chair were also comfortable. We'd definitely recommend the place and hopefully we'll get to stay there again next year! Brad was also quick to respond to any messages or texts. We had a great week and thanks!

Woodland Getaway

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Surrounded by woods with deer and squirrels running around. Our dog loved the walks and we even got a little snow on the last night which made it magical. Lovely house, everything you could need and great hosts. Thanks Brad we will be sure to visit again.

Host made clear efforts to make residence comfortable and leave nothing lacking you might need. Everything was clean, he left a cell # for concerns, and answered immediately on our only phone call.
