This beautiful custom-built studio casita is perfect for a peaceful romantic getaway with spectacular mountain sunset views, just 19 miles from Santa Fe’s Plaza. Escape the bright lights of the city and relax by the outdoor fire pit and BBQ on cool summer nights, gazing up at the brilliant star-filled sky. On cold winter nights, cozy up around the indoor kiva fireplace with a book from the casita library and a cup of hot chocolate or your favorite beverage. Here you are just steps away from a vast network of hiking trails.

The stunning sunsets over the Sandia & Ortiz Mountains and Cerrillos Hills will transport you to another dimension, imprinting your senses with nature’s beauty so remarkable that you will carry this experience with you long after your visit has ended.

Beyond content

This little Casita couldn’t be more beautiful and well taken care by her owners! You can tell they take pride on providing the best experience possible to their guests! Cute, comfortable, super clean, cozy little place with everything you need and more to feel at home away from yours. Great views, quite place to relax and go on walks, run or ride your bike! 25 min easy drive to downtown Santa Fe. We loved our stay here! Lovely Casita

The casita was perfect for my stay. Judt the right size for one person, cozy and comfortable.The hostess is wonderful and made sure i had everything i needed.

Wonderful host! I booked many months in advance, and I appreciate that Sylvi contacted me once in awhile leading up to our stay. This made me feel valued and took away some anxiety from our cross country drive. Such a quiet area that was perfect for our holiday getaway to enjoy the sunshine and birds of the mountains. Traveled with my spouse and 1 small dog. The casita was perfect for the 3 of us, and dog oriented so we didn't feel like our senior fur baby was a burden. We enjoyed having a fireplace for Christmas and it was fitting to the cozy atmosphere of the rest of the house. We will stay again!

Enchantment indeed and all you might need

Enchanted Sunset Casita is super comfortable, super well appointed and is in a gorgeous, quiet location with great views of the mountains. We would give more stars if possible! Sylvie as a host gets high marks for communication and helpfulness. She has provided a warm and nurturing vacation home. Would stay there again in a minute!

Charming Casita with a Beautiful View

Me and my husband along with our miniature schnauzer puppy stayed for 4 nites and we enjoyed our time tremendously. Beautiful view from inside the casita and from the back porch which has a fenced area that is safe for small dogs. The property owners were extremely thoughtful and they left treats for our puppy and us that we found upon check-in. Casita had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. It also had a great bathroom with a roomy shower all decorated in Santa Fe style.

Beautiful Casita

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful casita. It’s in a very nice area (Eldorado) and everything was just as pictured. The owners were available if we contacted them and replied quickly to any questions. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Really Beautiful Casita and Location

The owners were super attentive - wine for my wife, pet treats for our dog, new microwave for our leftovers and gourmet chocolate treats. The casita was very clean and well appointed. The location is both rural enough to have a country feel with beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife, yet convenient to the grocery store and great local restaurants plus 15-20 minutes to museums and the plaza. Not far to hiking/fishing in the Pecos or the ski-mountain area. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little casita

I can't say enough positive things about Sylvi, Harland and their Casita. We were greeted with a small surprise, and a handwritten note including the time of sunset that day. Sylvi even left her number in case we needed anything. It's beautiful inside and well stocked with everything you need. We spent our time there running the trails, cooking, grilling and enjoying the fire both inside and out. The firewood was well stocked, but when we ran out (we were spoiled with both an inside fireplace and outdoor fire pit), I asked where we could easily go pick up some more. She insisted they'd bring some over and in no time we were well stocked again. The location is amazing, you can be in Santa Fe city center in about 20 minutes, but in this location you get to experience coyotes, incredible sunsets and a night sky with very low light pollution. Each night we'd walk outside and look at the stars and watch satellites go by. They have a great folder of things to do and places to eat, which I recommend looking through for a local's perspective. While we were there for a conference that's usually held in Albuquerque, we decided we'd rather stay here and just drive down next year. It was that nice, not to mention owned by great people. I'd recommend this location for anyone looking to experience Santa Fe far enough away from city life to relax and enjoy the outdoors, but close enough to easily pop into town for a night out.

Perfectly Named!

The Enchanted Sunset Casita is perfectly named -- not only is the casita lovely and serene, but the back sliding doors frame a pretty view of the mountains made even better by the colorful sunsets! Sylvi added so many special touches -- Santa Fe chocolates for us, yummy treats for our dog, special "pup" blankets (and bowls for his food and water), and the sweetest note! The location was perfect for us (near our children and grandchildren), and it was quiet. We enjoyed walking our dog on the dirt road leading to the home, and would have used the trail system, if we'd had more time. We highly recommend this truly enchanted casita!

Enchanting Stay

• So many great details - she really thought of every creature comfort for a comfortable stay such as coffee, nice bath products, a lint roller, TV with apps you can sign into, plenty of blankets, lamps that have a USB plug for charging phone • Bed is comfy • Everything felt clean and was also very quaint and “Santa Fe” • Special touches like local champagne and chocolates as well as treats for the dog and necessities like bowls, a bed and poop bags • Big closet with hangers and storage for clothes • Kitchen well equipped and having RO water with ice trays to make ice is a huge plus! • Beautiful view of mountains and sunset. Very private, quiet and peaceful. • Enclosed porch great for dog • Thorough instructions for everything • Felt very secure due to the front door locking in 3 ways

Absolutely Perfect!

My stay at the Enchanted Sunset Casita was absolutely, positively perfect. The hosts have attended to every detail, making this little house a welcoming home away from home. Spotlessly clean, comfortably decorated, and absolutely charming. Quiet, private, and oh my goodness… the views. A lovely back porch for relaxing and watching the scenery. A well appointed kitchenette. A gorgeous walk in shower. And, the very comfortable bed that provided the restful sleep that I desperately needed. Thank you, Sylvi and Harland. I can’t wait to visit again!!!

A wonderful quiet setting in a lovely casita!

Sylvi and Harland are the best hosts! So kind and thoughtful. The casita is modern but very southwest with amazing decor. So very quiet for the 4th of July! Our dog Chief appreciated the serenity. Don't hesitate to book this property. You won't be disappointed.

Sunsets, stars and serenity

Beautifully designed spanish-style casita, very clean and well-stocked.Privacy, quiet, comfort, amazing views, abundance of interesting birds and little lizards. Pristine landscape of native flora and fauna, clear air and constantly shifting skies.Secluded but close to good local restaurants and short drive to great shops and fine dining in Santa Fe. Thoughtful and considerate hosts.

Relaxing!!!

I don't know where to start. We drove in from Austin, Texas. The place was just wonderful. Cozy. Everything you needed to cook all your meals. We had a very unexpected day of beautiful snow. It was very quiet, which is what we like. It wasn't far from many outdoor adventures. You can hear the wildlife at night. Sunsets were great!!! Our hosts were the best we have ever met and we have stayed at many, many VRBO's. We took our dog and they had dog bowls with a rubber mat waiting for her and some special handmade doggy treats and her own blanket and poop bags. They also had some wonderful chocolates made right there in El Dorado by a wonderful choclatier. They have a wonderful grocery store right there and a brew pup my husband took a liking to. My husband and I are definately going back and plan to stay longer. If you have a dog just know that Santa Fe and Taos have many, many dog friendly restaurants.Can't thank Sylvi and Harland enough for all their hospitality......

Perfect High Chaparral Location

Location and setting are perfect for a private getaway. Hosts are great people who made sure our stay was total comfort. Easy access to Santa Fe and all other points in northern New Mexico. Highly recommend, miss it already, will rent again next time we visit!

Excellent Casita

We spent 5 days at the Casita in Eldorado at Santa Fe. The casita was beautiful, well stocked and the views were to die for. We enjoyed listening to the coyotes and watching the sun set with the local coffee provided. The washer and dryer were an extra bonus so that we didn’t have to scramble to wash clothes when we arrived home. If you want peace and an escape from the city this is the perfect place. If we make our way to Santa Fe again, we will be staying here. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your home.

Exceptionally ideal for a couple!

The Casita was perfect for us - quiet, cozy, scenic and an easy drive into Santa Fe, where we enjoyed great meals and museums. The interior of the house was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Sylvi and Harland were warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. If we return to the Santa Fe area, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Made for a wonderful getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying 5 days at the Enchanted Sunset Casita. It is perfect for 2, very clean, nice comfortable Queen bed, and in the beautiful location of Eldorado. The hosts/owners are very nice and there when you need them. It is an easy 20 min drive into Santa Fe but has an impressive grocery store within a couple of miles and delicious restaurants just up the road. We enjoyed some great hiking nearby. Highly recommend!
