Almost all of our time was spent on the back porch appreciating the beautiful rock wall. Great location and very secluded with plenty of room inside for us (9 adults).

The house was as listed on the site and what we've come to expect from past visits. Everything in the kitchen worked and was very clean. Some members of our group enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and the fire pit at the bottom of the hill made for an enjoyable evening under the stars. We look forward to coming back to this house next year,Dan

Great space for 17 adults celebrating a 30th Birthday! Main spaces and bathrooms felt clean, but windows/porches/outskirts of rooms could use a little TLC in regard to cleaning maintenance. We decided against use of the grill as the whole interior was molded. Fire pit area is a separate space from the home which also limited our use, driveway is a little sketchy with deep roots from washout - cars likely will not tolerate well. A lot of time was spent in the game room area and watching football on many of the televisions through the home. Plenty of seating and space for our large group. Booking and communication with the host throughout our stay was seamless. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect at Rockhill Retreat! We celebrated a combined bachelor and bachelorette trip, and it was the perfect location for our group. We were able to stay up late and enjoy ourselves without worrying about disturbing nearby neighbors. The space was clean, comfortable, and very inviting. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was weak and difficult to use at times. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Rockhill Retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Hocking Hills.

The house and property were perfect for our needs. The layout is great and functional, the game room kept everybody entertained, and there was plenty of space for the whole group to get together and small groups to do their own thing. There were 6 kids in the house and they always had something to keep them busy and somewhere to do their own thing. The main issue with the property is that there appears to be an issue with the septic system, as in after every use - bathroom, shower, dishwasher, the exterior of the house gets a very strong sewage smell - and with 15 guests, it's obvious going to get used. It was bad enough to limit window opening and time spent on the patios, which was a shame. We'd absolutely come back if that got resolved. Another issue to note was the upstairs bedroom closet had mold and I didn't consider it useable for that reason.

The host was great and so was the property! Plenty of room, we laughed and played family card games! The game rooms were a big hit and we enjoyed some snowy trails! The hot tub was fun! Definitely recommend!!
My daughter & I had coffee on the deck! We didn’t care that it was a little chilly!
Plenty of room for eating with cousins.
Special moment by the fire!! 💕 Family!
Boys enjoyed the games!

The Rock Hill Retreat was a wonderful property. The space was clean and had lots of room for many guests. The property was accurate to the listing, although the fire pit was kind of far from the actual house. Lots of rooms and beds for adults. There were many beds for kids or teens as well in the basement. The deck had a nice view for morning coffee or afternoon meditation. The only downside was that the hot tub was very hot. Otherwise it was a great stay and lots of activities to keep you busy and having fun!

Cabrew Weekend 2022

This was our couple's group 9th year coming to Hocking to cabrew. We stayed at Rock Hill Retreat and had an amazing time. It is by far the best property we have stayed in. There was more than enough room, a beautiful setting (deck and hot tub included), and a wonderful firepit area we enjoyed on Friday night. Would absolultely stay here again!

The bunk room and game room were awesome. The kids and teens had a fun. The XBox didn't work. One tub and one sink were all clogged up. We had to fix them. The cupards and window sills are filthy. Shower curtain in downstairs bathroom was all MOLDY. The hot tub was nice and clean. The outdoor furniture is moldy. Master bath jet tub doesn't hold water. There is an electrical smell in the game room coming from the electrical panel. Beautiful place, just needs some TLC and a GOOD cleaning. I've rented lots of homes and condos. This would not be one of my favorites. Also, all the fans are covered in dust. We didn't want to use them.
