Property is on McKay Bay in Lake Huron with local fishing available and freighters to view.
It is located about 20 miles east of the Mackinaw Bridge. It has a large crib dock and deep water for tying up your boat. Sleeps 2 in cabin; 7 in main house. Cabin oven not in operation; gas stove works fine. no Wi-Fi

The House next to it is newly remolded with new kitchen, dishwasher, electric stove, fridge, overhead fans; Bathroom with shower/tub; half bath near garage entrance; gas grill available; dining area; fully stocked kitchen and baking essentials; fire ring by the shore; firewood not always supplied; maybe purchased in the area.

You may book both properties if you wish.

The host was wonderful. We arrived later than expected on check in day, but she was quick to answer any questions we had. The cleaner did a fantastic job as well. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! We can't wait to come back. It was so cozy and peaceful for our honeymoon. Thank you for everything!

Great location. Friendly deer.Many boulders in lake passages need better danger markers. Dock restoration was wonderful. Limited tv programming so I brought dvd’s but the remote was too complicated and didn’t sinc with tv.I would suggest a larger frying pan or electric fry pan for the cabin. I would stay again. Friendly neighbors. Great communication with host.

Cabin was charming retro 1950s. Bigger than expected. Exceptionally clean. Quiet. Comfortable queen bed. Nice dock, Short easy walk to lake. No air, but windows opened. Not fancy but comfortable, safe, & convenient. Check in was easy, Monica was great host. Highly recommend.

Cute cozy cabin

Super cute and cozy cabin. Perfect as a base camp. Allows you to do sight seeing and exploring, as well as fine dining. Definitely would recommend!

This cabin was all it was described to be - perfect for the 2 of us for a few days. Nice, quiet area, good access to the water, and a few miles from Cedarville and other points of interest. Easy check in and out - really appreciate the hospitality of this cabin. We look forward to another visit in the future!

Enjoyed our two days in Cedarville on Lake Huron. The view from the deck was spectacular for sunrise and sunsets.

Quaint little cottage

Everything was just right. The cottage was fully stocked and comfortable. Loved sitting outside in the morning under the cedars.

Nice, cozy cottage!

Perfect for a weekend getaway with my spouse. Cabin was very clean and affordable. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed and pillow were. Slept great both nights. It was very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend for couples.

The cabin was adequate for our two-night stay. To clarify, the cabin is located to the left of a larger home and the view of the water is through some large cedar trees down a hill. It was a little awkward with the other guests, but we weren't there much. For the price per night, it worked for our stay and the owner was prompt with communication.

Cabin was cute and well stocked. One single room but cute and charming. The vintage stove worked great. Monica answered all of our questions. It was a great little getaway.

Very Charming Cabin on the Water

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The neighborhood was very quiet and offered the downtime and relaxation that was much needed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Monica responded very quickly to all my inquiries both prior and during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin for an adult and child or for a couple.
