Enjoy a 5-Star guest experience in Norman. Just minutes from OU Campus, restaurants, shopping, and I-35 with easy access to several wedding venues, casinos, and Downtown Oklahoma City. Not only do you get convenient access to everything in the area, we provide plenty of entertainment on property so that you could also stay at home. The home is located in one of Norman's most beloved historic districts. Located just 120 steps from The Mont and minutes from the University of Oklahoma.

Important notes: The maximum guests allowed is 8. This limit will be striclty enforced. Also note, no parties or events are allowed on property. Violation of either rule will result in eviction with no refunds.

Wonderful weekend!!

My wife and I planned an impromptu visit with our daughter who is a freshman at OU. The house was wonderful and very well located to campus, food and shopping. We will definitely stay again!

Freezing

I stayed here about 3 years ago and loved it. This time...not so much. We arrived about 4:00 and it was freezing. We reached out to the owner and he got a heating/air company to come look at it. We were not there but received a text that they needed to get a part so it would not be fixed till the next day. But they had ordered space heaters that would be delivered that evening. When we got back to the house is was probably less than 60 and no space heaters and no response from the owner. It was a very cold night and we had my elderly in laws with us. The space heaters did arrive the next day. Also the furniture is very worn. My father in law sat on the couch and needed help getting up out of the hole he was sitting in. There was a live wasp in our roller shade and a light filled with dead wasps. There was mold all around the tub/shower on the main bath. We were not given any discount for our cold night even though we asked. Sorry to say this is no longer on our Norman VRBO list.

Weekend Visit

The communication with the host was great prior to arrival. Smoke alarm was sounding upon arrival, no batteries available for replacement. Communication with host went well but would have preferred if they had reached out via phone or text in response. The property was clean with the exception of mice droppings under the kitchen sink, probably due to the time of year (winter). Plenty of provided amenities, we still love this location and will stay here again.

The cutest!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and loved exploring all of the quirky, vintage finishes and rooms. It brought me back to my childhood. The beds were comfortable, coffee was provided, and the decor was perfect! What more could you ask for? How about a large bed swing on a screened-in back porch? So cute! The only problem we had all weekend was the tv connection wasn’t consistent. We tried to watch a movie as a family. It started and stopped 15 times minimum. We eventually gave up. But overall, this was minor. We loved that we could walk to 2 restaurants within 1 block. The best part was the close proximity to OU.

Grad Bash 2024

We absolutely loved this beautiful, historic Norman home that has everything one needs for comfort to include an easy walk to The Mont for a great dinner. The neighborhood is a step back in time with the various architectural styles represented on one street. Everything was clean and perfectly in order upon our arrival (and departure,lol). There was no lapse in communication with the property owner. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home

We stayed at this home for a weekday wedding and were impressed at the size, location, decoration and amenities. The host is very informative and the process was all a 10/10. The house has it's creaks and quirks because of the age, but it has been beautifully redone and kept up. We'd love to return to stay again. Would recommend visiting The Mont very close by for a sandwich and drink on the patio- it was delicious and unique.

Perfect Location

Our family really enjoyed our time at the property. Fully functional home and the beds are super comfy. The furniture in the living area is a bit worn & less than comfortable so that could be a possible improvement. This is an old house with creaking floors but it adds to the charm. Would highly recommend it!

OU football coaching meeting.

Great spot for some of my staff and I to stay while in town meeting with the OU staff at the stadium. East walk or short drive to the stadium. East walk to eat and drink. Great communication and the space is perfect. We will be back.

Family visit with our graduating senior

We had a wonderful time with our graduating senior. We hosted 2 sets of aunts and uncles in the house with us for an early graduation celebration, and it was perfect! We had 3 bedrooms with 3 queen size beds, and all with tons of charm. The remodel of this house was done so well, with special attention given to retaining a lot of the house's old charm. We walked across the street to The Mont and enjoyed the easy access to campus and the businesses on campus corner. I highly recommend!

Beautiful stay

LOVED our stay in this beautiful home. Loved the updates to the 1930’s home and still keeping all the character. Check-in was easy, communication was good for most of the stay. Had a small concern and didn’t get an answer from the property manager before checkout but it all ended up good. Would definitely recommend this home & we would love to stay here again.

Disappointed - Multiple Issues on our stay

We were very excited to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our family in Norman, as our son is at OU and we were attending the game. Unfortunately this house left us scrambling on several fronts. There are several things a renter should be aware of when booking this house. The house is nearly 100 years old, which is fine and can be charming, but it has not been updated/kept up in several key areas despite the pictures. We arrived to a clogged sink in the kitchen, which made washing dishes impossible. They did not stock hot pads, dish soap or sponges/brushes. When we inquired we were told to go out and buy them and we would be reimbursed. This was over Thanksgiving mind you. The TV streaming was non-functional and would not stream a football game without constant buffering. We had to leave to go watch at the Noun hotel. A $20 firestick would have allowed us to steam from our phone but they didn’t have that either. The toilet seat upstairs is the small round size but sits on an oblong toilet. Sounds minor until you sit on it lol. The front door lock is hanging on by a thread - when locked and pushing on door to make sure it is locked, the door still opens enough that you can see into the main room. This door could be forced open and is a safety concern. There was an exposed and rusted outlet (no cover) in the bedroom that sparked when used to plug in a charger. I’m all for the charm of old homes, but this house has a long way to go for the game day prices they charged.

Historic Home in Norman

The location couldn't be better if your attending OU events. The house is updated and done extremely well. Many of the old items remain but add to the charm. Sleeping was very comfortable. Lots of places to talk with friends. More than expected with coffee accommodations. The living room couches could be upgraded but all in all very comfortable seating.

Great property and location

Had a great stay while getting our Sooner settled for another year. Great location close to OU and Campus Corner. The house is artfully decorated and properly amenitized. Comfortable beds/linens. Loved the quirks and character of house - old school charm, new school convenience. Loved walking to our favorite spots The Mont and Neighborhood JAM, and Benvenuti’s.
