Property

My overall experience wasn't great the property wasn't clean spiderwebs on the wall floors were dirty doors broken some doors didn't fit the beds wear very old and uncomfortable lumpy is the better word the property could be cleaned more better there is a toilet leak the doors didn't fit and or they were. Broken but I stayed since it was booked and paid for but for future reference don't falsely advertise the property it's only room for two people really no plugs in the bathroom for washing and blow drying your hair nor even to curl your hair but I give the place a 2 because the friendly dogs were there to greet and protect us they recognized good people clean the. Property up outside manicure the grass make it appealing to your guest also get a better lock box it took 20 minutes to get into the home thank you

Good and Not So Good

My daughter and I came to this location because it was situated close to Florida Caverns State Park. My daughter asked for this journey as a Christmas gift, and we had finally gotten our schedules to align for the trip. The property itself isn’t bad although it could stand some definite improvements. Outside was tall with weeds/grass. The neighbors were burning something with a chemical smell. The kitchen provisions were miniscule. The pots I looked at were rusted, there was limited silverware, and there were no paper towels or dishwashing pods at all. This wouldn’t have been an issue except for the fact that there were huge palmetto bugs in the house. For those not native to the area, palmetto bugs are cockroaches, and the ones we saw were more than 2 inches long. Squishing them, well, it makes a mess, and we didn’t have anything to really clean them up with, so we had to go out and purchase paper towels. I live in Florida, and I understand that bugs are something we always battle, but these guys were a bit scary. My daughter was uncomfortable enough that she didn’t sleep the final night, and we ended up packing things up and heading out shortly after 3AM. Good stuff: The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was lovely, and the bathroom was updated and had plenty of hot water. Also, the TV had a good quality picture and allowed for streaming Netflix. So that is very good.

Great location!

The property was perfect for our weekend trip to Marianna to go tubing thru Bear Paw Adventures. The location of this rental is perfect for arriving and being close to any stores you need to stock up on, as well as, its great location to all the surrounding attractions! We definitely recommend!! Also the property owner was easy to get ahold of to answer any questions about the property and area!!

Basic Necessities and Room to Spread Out

We were comfortable and felt safe (2 women travelling alone.) There were small things that could be improved - but overall we were pleased with our stay. The beds are comfortable and it's a nice place to rest from a busy schedule.

We’ll be back

Everything we needed for a dive vacation - No frills everything clean and functional, super comfy beds, cooked in most meals but hit Mashawy the last night - DONT SKIP IT!!!!

New years getaway

My wife and I with another couple wanted to explore the FL Caverns. A nice spot 3 miles away, in an unassuming neighborhood. House was comfortable and quiet. Sami was happy to answer any questions we had, like when the wi-fi went out. Turned out that we turned it off! Switch near the door. (Maybe should label that switch?) Nice place to stay for a night or 3. And make sure you ask Sami about the best places to each in town!

Disappointment

This location could be better. It was definitely not cleaned in between stays. We had to go buy blankets to use and clean the bathroom ourselves. The toilet was not even flushed. There were still multiple items in the fridge and freezer from the people who stayed before us. The garbage was completely full.
