We had a great stay! The host was lovely, the location was perfect for visiting Missouri Star, and breakfast was fantastic. We’d happily stay again.

Beautiful home with a gracious and accommodating hostess. We found the bed to be very comfortable, setting was quiet, and breakfast was great (both food and company!). It is a few blocks away from Missouri Star Quilt shops and an easy walk for most. Would stay again! Thanks!

A great location very convenient to the Missouri Star Quilt Shops. We had the estate room - en-suite bath is gorgeous. Terry made us a delicious breakfast each morning and there’s a coffee bar available at all hours. She gave us lots of tips on what to see in town. I’d choose this place again.

The breakfasts were wonderful. The bedroom ensuite was beautiful with a newly remodeled bathroom. My aunt and I had a wonderful experience staying there.

Shoal Creek B&B is a perfect place to stay if you are in Hamilton or the area. We were there because my sister wanted to visit the quilt capital of the world - which it definitely is (be sure to visit the MSQ Museum). Back to our B&B - the host does not live on site but is available 24/7 to help if needed. We stayed in the Estate Room which has a bed and twin daybed plus a private bathroom suite. It was SWEET (intentional). The house is beautiful - with original woodwork and flooring. Plus, very, very comfortable. It is located in town with parking on site. Our hostess made an excellent breakfast of French toast, bacon, fried potatoes and watermelon. I was able to self-serve my Keurig coffee in the morning and sit on the front porch to start my day. Definitely stay here!

Our stay at this grand home exceeded our expectations. We checked in later than we had wished (our own travel snags) but our host was quick to respond and help us get settled in. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was stocked with anything you’d need, very clean and inviting. I only wish I’d had time to have a bubble bath in the beautiful tub. I’d highly recommend Shoal Creek B&B and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful BnB

I was drawn to this location for its proximity to the quilt shops. The home was built in 1904 - my Grandmothers birth year - that made me have to stay there! We enjoyed visiting with other visitors there. Beautiful decor and spacious rooms.

Best time ever

Beds were comfortable, bathroom in the estate cottage room is awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Our cook was awesome. Thank you for the relaxing time.

Lovely room and large private bathroom. Our Hostess, Terri, prepared delicious and varied breakfasts each morning of our visit. The historic home is located just a few walking blocks from the main business street in Hamilton. It was a beautiful, peaceful, restorative Bed & Breakfast. The king bed was very comfortable and our room had a twin day bed in the spacious room. The online photo is very accurate; just added a couple of interior pics. Highly recommend and would Definitely stay there again.

Such a welcomiing home

My sister and I stayed one night in the Estate Room at the Shoal Creek BnB. Terri was a welcoming, warm host and the home was just perfect. We had a great visit hearing her story over the delicious breakfast that was served. If you are going to Hamilton to check out "quilt town" you will love staying at this location.

Fabric Store Road Trip

Terri was a great hostess and we felt safe, clean, and comfortable during our time in Hamilton. A great stay with Jamesport only 28 min away and Kansas City an hour away, wouldn't want to have changed where we stayed the night even though we traveled all over Missouri each day!

This is a lovely B&B in a classic and historic 1904 red brick house. Our host Terri provided delicious breakfasts, as well as a self-serve beverage bar with coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms large and luxurious. The weather even cooperated and we sat outside on the veranda for afternoon tea. Very conveniently located within walking distance to all the quilt shops.
