Enjoyed Our Getaway

The cabin is a bit dated, but the location and space were just what we needed. Would definitely come back next time we visit the area.

Thanks Jay, we appreciate the feedback and are constantly updating each of the 10 cabins here at Carters Lake Marina. Cabins 7 thru 10 are our newer cabins, cabins 1 thru 6 are the older cabins, little more rustic but better priced. The location next to the lake, with gorgeous views, is definitely our best feature !

We stayed there for Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, we had a very pleasant holiday and enjoyed the spot. I have fantastic views of Carters Lake, It's comfortable. The host Denise was fantastic, above and beyond. Will keep this property in the list of my favorite places in the world

It was absolutely peaceful and calm during our stay .. the cabin was immaculate .. I read one review of it being outdated however I just saw how clean and well kept the place was besides who doesn’t love just a tad bit of a vintage feel .. reminded me of furniture we had growing up .. sweet memories were made with my grandson who said .. Thank You I had a great time

Our stay was great!! We had a problem and one of our jetskis almost sank. The people at the marina were so so very helpful and kind! We would have lost a ski possibility 2 if it wasn't for all there help. The lake was absolutely gorgeous. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. The cabins were perfect for a lake getaway!! Love this place,will definitely go back!

This cabin by the lake has become one of my favorite getaway spots! It was secluded enough to be peaceful and safe, yet close enough to town to still be easily accessible. The location was gated and felt extremely safe. It was so clean and cared for that I didn't even bother with the lysol wipes I normally bring on Holiday. The resort's rules and expectations were clearly listed and easily abided. I greatly appreciateed that no outside guests were permitted as that just kept the peaceful ambiance and safety in check. The cabin was fully furnished with everything my family of 4 needed for a peaceful getaway. The breathtaking views, helpful staff and cleanliness of not only the cabin but surrounding grounds were so wonderful I will definitely be bringing my family back!
