Big enough for the WHOLE FAMILY! Our two-bedroom/one-bathroom suite accommodates up to 8 guests! One bedroom is set up with a king-sized bed, and the other is furnished with two twin over queen-sized bunk beds. The room amenities include your own private balcony with mountain views, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker (coffee's on us), furniture to store away all your belongings, and closet space. Please be aware this room is on the second floor and stairs are required to reach the entrance. During the winter months, please keep in mind you are traveling to the mountains. All our properties are maintained by professional snow-plowmen; we make every effort to ensure the property is accessible upon arrival. However, please be prepared for extreme weather conditions. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended. Resort Properties of Angel Fire cannot be responsible for guests unable to reach the booked property due to a lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

ANGEL FIRE RESORT: Wintertime offers several mountain activities, such as downhill and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, and sports lessons. In the summertime, the outdoor fun continues with mountain biking, zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, hiking, tennis, golf, pickle-ball, and fishing (1.0 mile/ 3-minute drive).
ANGEL FIRE COUNTRY CLUB: Open to the public. A fitness center and indoor heated pool are available for a small fee. Fine dining and full bar at Elements (1.8 mile/ 5-minute drive).
GOLF COURSES: Angel Fire Resort Golf Course (4.1 miles), Valley Escondido Golf Course (15.6 miles).
DAY TRIPS: Taos and Taos Pueblo Village (24.9 miles), Taos Ski Valley (43.7 miles), Rio Grande Gorge Bridge (36.6 miles), and Santa Fe (92.6 miles).
RESTAURANTS: El Jefe, Village Haus Restaurant & Bar, Pizza Stop, Angel Fired Pizza, Enchanted Circle Brewing Company, The Bakery & Café @ Angel Fire, Mikuna Grill, Zeb's, and Elements @ the Angel Fire Country Club.

Room was clean and easily accessible. We enjoyed the stay very much. WiFi did not work on the television and we had to use our phones as a hot spot to watch tv. Make sure to bring paper towels, plates, utensils if you plan on eating in. There is a mini fridge and a microwave but no cooktop or oven. Comfortable beds and furniture. Very close to grocery store and coffee shop / pizza place. 10/10 Would stay again!

Good stay

The exterior appears to have been under renovation at the time of our stay, but the inside was nice & comfortable. Recommend reserved parking for hotel guests vs restaurant patrons. Overall, we were happy with the accommodations & would stay here again

Nice location

Enjoyed our stay! The first night, the room was very hot. Once we opened up windows, 2nd night was better. The beds were extremely firm but the room was clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. Location is great!

Pretty Sweet set up!

We loved this property! Perfect for our 3 kiddos (could have held 4 more!) and loved having a separate primary bedroom. Great location, lots of space, very clean, efficient heating and renovated bathroom. Big fans! Sending the link out now to a friend looking to book!

Elk Horn Lodge

Right on the main drag in Angel Fire. Morningstar Restaurant is on the ground floor and is a nice breakfast spot. The room was spacious and clean. We had a little trouble using the code we had been assigned to get into the room, but the management company arrived within 10-15 minutes to get things squared away. Walking distance to the Farmers Market, Angel Fired Pizza, and the Lowes Grocery Store.

No staff, dated

There’s no staff onsite. The outer doors are always unlocked and we were given the wrong code for our room. The couch was ancient and dingy. Good location and potential, but it needs updating.

The property was ok but take a handyman with you.

Upon arrival the property was not what I expected from the listing. The property was a little run down and very out dated. The coax for the digital tv stations was disconnected from the tv and laying on the floor, the water to the toilet was turned off and the lightbulbs in the bedroom with two beds were burned out. It was disappointing to say the least. Wouldn’t stay there again.

My family and I did not enjoy our stay here. First, it looked like the building hadn’t been open in a long time. Perhaps because this is a ski town and we were traveling during the off-season. But the downstairs restaurant was completely closed and looked abandoned. I think I was one of two guests in this lodge the night I stayed. There was a person parked in a car next-door to the building who sat in their car playing loud music until about two in the morning. Then when I came out the next morning to see my car, it look like there were fingerprints on the window like someone attempted to slide the window down. This place gave me some creepy vibes. Again, it might’ve been because this was the off-season, but I would not recommend staying here.
