## Emplacement
If Ajaccio is the most touristic city of South Corsica, with its modern districts and its big roads, its downtown has kept its authenticity and its air of small Mediterranean village. Out of time, full of charm, entangled with narrow streets shaded by colorful facades and palm trees, the old town of Ajaccio is as romantic as you could wish. During your stroll, you will discover the citadel, the ramparts, the Foch square and the Casone square, the imperial chapel. The places and monuments will tell you a story and sometimes, a secret garden will be revealed between the stones of yesteryear.
