Perfect location

The wedding venue, Hidden Valley Vineyard was only 8 min away & I took some time to explore St Joseph while in the area. Very nice place to stay

We had a nice visit. Small compact space that was very thoughtfully laid out. It had everything that we needed. We would rent again.

Cute small place

Very clean and neat space but quite small. It was fine for me but when the Murphy bed is down there is no room to move around in the main space. Just an FYI if you plan to have multiple guests. Also, I noticed the description reads that this is wheelchair accessible. I did not need this feature but it is NOT wheel chair accessible. Great shower and super comfy bed. Close to all the fun things to do.

Peaceful bliss

I went to a wedding not too far from this place and was so glad to have found it! The pictures do make it seem a bit bigger but when I got there and got a feel of the place I fell in love. It was very clever how Nina turned part of her garage into a studio! It was perfect for me as a solo getaway and so cozy. I will definitely be back.

Celebrated my 45th birthday and had a nice little getaway in October of 2023!

My husband and I came out to seek the Niles, MI 50th haunted houses Anniversary. Usually we stay at a hotel in Niles, MI but Notre Dame was having a home game so the hotels were ridiculously overpriced! So therefore I started searching for a close by VRBO. Nina had the perfect little place for us! Cozy, clean, warm and cute! Perfect and just exactly what we needed for our 2 day trip in October! A wonderful trip/ getaway/ birthday to remember! :-)

Perfect for intimate getaway!

This was a special treat for me and my husband. The atmosphere in this home was breath taking. The craftmanship and décor gives one the feeling of a coastal getaway. Yes, it is a tiny house within the confines of a garage. Genius! Who knew one could make such a cool and peaceful place while creating a warm and welcoming feeling all at the same time. Clean, perfectly decorated with love and care. This is a couple's getaway for sure, cozy, and intimate, yet roomy enough for two big oldies like me and my husband. We will stay again.

Nice, little, clean space.

The owner was very accommodating from start to finish. We asked before arrival if there was an electrical outlet on the exterior close to the driveway. We had our fishing boat and needed to charge our batteries. When we arrived she had strung a cord and it was hanging on the fence for us to use. As we entered the space it was refreshing to find everything neatly done and very clean. The Murphy bed was awesome! The loft is tight. I am still in disbelief that my son and I both took a turn sleeping up there. I am 6’1 and 220 lbs and my son is both taller and heavier. The day after our stay I received a text from the owner asking if we had left some shirts and if we would like her to send them to us. I replied yes, and in a few days I received them in the mail folded, packaged nicely and they smelled like she had washed them. Thank you Doris for being such a great hostess. This is a nice, little, clean space. Yes, we would stay again.

Perfect location

Just the ticket for at short stay in Berrien Springs, very close to Andrews University. Stayed here for at long weekend, and the accommodation was just what we needed.

If you don't mind tight places, it was fine. We spent two nights and it worked out well for us. Probably wouldn't have wanted to spend much longer.

Labor Day Weekend.

Beautiful little room with loft with amazing engineering. Reminded me of a camper as far as the space saving techniques used, very innovative and interesting. The online pictures made it look larger than it was. We were a bit surprised by how small it was, but adapted quickly and ended up enjoying it. Access to the door was restricted by an outside wall decoration, a narrow walkway and a hard right turn. I am 6'4" 280lbs so the access might not be as much of a problem for someone who is average height and weight. We would definately stay again. Great experience!

Cute Space

Cute little space, nicely decorated and well supplied. Having a comfortable chair to sit on instead of the benches with cushions would have made the stay a bit better. The Murphy bed is very easy to use and extremely comfortable. There is a very nice fire pit with seats outdoors, but I forgot my firewood so didn't use it. Location is near many vineyards and orchards and about 20 minutes from hiking and swimming but there isn't much to do in the direct vicinity and what is open closes early. Best for 1 or 2 adults, not much space for kids.

Not Safe

I appreciate Nina’s attempt to make use of every available inch of half of her garage to create a mini-apartment. However, more time should have been spent on things like how to escape a fire than how to squeeze pillows under rafters in a loft and call them beds. This space has no windows, no air conditioning, no heat that we could find, and a cracked and broken outlet in the bathroom. There is one exit, and the door is difficult to enter with luggage or a child due to a very close fence. It does not sleep 4, and in fact doesn’t even sit four. And while the gift bag of snacks was a nice touch, including Christian prayer books felt inappropriate to practicing members of a different faith. This space would make a very cute guest room for a family member, but is not safe to rent to the public.

Amazing Experience

Such an adorable little loft, cozy for a couple and baby. Only a 20 minute drive to st. Joseph and silver beach. Supplies and goodies we were nice and convenient. Cant wait to visit this town again.
