Cabin #8 of tastefully decorated family cabins available will sleep up to 6 guests. Small deck with benches for sitting out on starry nights. The Cedar River is a short pleasant walk from the cabin. A rural area with many wildlife, but close to many attractions, including but not limited to the Mississippi town of Muscatine, Iowa. Many activities at the camp, with acres of timber and trails that run along the Cedar River. Plus horseshoes, basketball, sand volleyball, regular volleyball, tether ball, playground,
Cabins are heated and air conditioned for comfort. All cabins have fire pits, grills and picnic tables.

During summer months enjoy access to our NEW pool & bath house! Please bring your own beach towel.

Great team get away!

Our travel softball team stayed here during a tournament as a get away and culture building activity. It was a wonderful stay and everything we were looking for! The cabin was wonderfully maintained. We are so glad we came!

Wonderful Fourth of July Getaway 2021

I love the property and everything about it. Got to speak with the owners and they are wonderful! The pool wasn't open but they purchased slip n' slides for kids to use and they didn't have to do that. The gesture was deeply appreciated. We want to go back!

Thank you for the reviews, Bill. Jim & Freda really enjoyed their conversation with you. We were all quite bummed out when we had to come to terms with the fact that we would not be able to complete the pool project in this season. We have worked hard to try to provide alternatives and other family activities for our guests without the pool to offer. Your kind words are appreciated :) As always, we welcome a return stay any time!

Nikki, Lee and their teenage daughter Emilee Salek are the hosts. The owners are Jim and Freda Sojka, third wind entrepreneurs with a longtime dream of buying this camp so close to our home. It has been a church camp since the 70s, we wanted to convert it to something families could enjoy. We also love a family business to run together.
We wanted to share our good fortune, through the sale of a successful business, (Bug Soother)this is an excellent way to be able to do that.

Beautiful area, within 10 minutes of our home. We fell in love with it several years ago, and finally were able to purchase the property. With 16 cabins we can house over 140 guests.

With 53 acres of timber and trails along the Cedar River, our cabins are perfect for the outdoor explorer. Plus, new this year is our brand new swimming pool. Also can enjoy the volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and a playground, there are plenty of activities for all ages. During the summer season, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, and relax.

On weekends you can enjoy sandwiches and milk shakes from our new food truck, The Box Lunch.

We have 2 buildings that will hold events, and a large commercial kitchen for catering to events.

The Ranch is set up to make some memories.

Also on the property will be a transitional living community for women in crisis. By staying at the ranch, people are supporting a fresh start for these women.
