Cosy Log Cottage in Rural Location

The location, views, fresh air and ruralness of our property lend for a relaxing stay. Our small log cottage, adjacent to the main house, is a perfect retreat to unwind from a busy day of outdoor activities or a break from mainstream life.

The accommodation is close (walking distance) to biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails and is only 16kms from the base gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

The cottage is all open plan and fully appointed to suit self-catering guests wishing to spend more than a couple of days in and around Revelstoke.

The whole interior of the cottage is beautifully finished in a mixture of pine, cedar and hemlock. Upstairs is well lit by windows on each of the 4 gables and comprises a queen sized bed, (plus a single and a roll-away bed by request).

The downstairs of the cottage has a small, open-plan lounge with seating, smart television, a log stove; kitchen with cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher plus all crockery and cooking utensils; bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.

Bedding, towels, tea towels, dish cloths, cleaning products, iron & ironing board are provided for your convenience.

An outdoor hot tub is available for your use (winter/ski season only - beginning of Dec).

Lovely cabin in a great location with high quality finishes and furnishings throughout. The shower valve was a little tricky to figure out the first time but it was quite nice to use. Make sure to brings lots of bug spray in the summer and be bear aware! There was also a very nice orange cat that came by to say hello daily. Would highly recommend for any summer mountain getaway or winter ski trip base camp.

This is our third time staying at the McPherson cabin. We love the privacy, layout, and hot tub. It is a wonderful home away from home for us and our dog.

Amazing log cabin in a great location in the mountains, we loved staying and Wendy and Graham are excellent and accommodating hosts. Great amenities with fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom, hot tub, fire place etc. We will for sure return!

Perfect log cabin vacation! I highly recommend staying here if you're in Revelstoke. The hot tub was perfect, the wood stove created the right ambiance, the location was great.

Couple's getaway

We came from Alberta for a 3 night stay. Loved the location - just outside the lovely city of Revelstoke and close to many parks. The cabin was perfect, exactly as described in the advert.

Cozy home away from home

This is our second time staying at the Macphearson cabin and we loved it again. It has everything we need, the bathroom has been nicely remodeled, and the hot tub is lovely! Thank you for another great stay.

Revelstoke Ski Trip

The Lodge was peaceful, quiet and very comfortable. The hot tub was incredible to have after a hard day of skiing. I highly recommend to all coming to Revelstoke!

Cozy and comfortable cabin with all amenities for the stay. Great location and views.

Owners are very accessible and accommodating. This was my second stay and look forward to future visits. Great location for snow activities including Nordic center, Revelstoke resort and backcountry skiing access.
