We had a wonderful time at this property, and it included all the amenities we needed for our trip. We absolutely loved the access to the private beach and spent a lot of our time there. The location was perfect for the West side of the island with convenient access to popular beaches. We will certainly be happy to stay here again next time we visit the Big Island.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, easy walking path and bicycling lane near by. The property manager and owner were very responsive to any questions that came up.

Peaceful getaway

We had such a nice time staying at Villa lava. The home had everything that we needed to make our stay relaxing and fun. Location was great and easy to get to nearby beaches. We look forward to staying again one day!

Great property in a beautiful location

This was a perfect property to explore Big Island and was exactly described in the listing. The use of the car park at the beach club was a real bonus. I would recommend staying here to anybody.

Incredible property with access to the perfect beach

The property was clean, organized, and had everything our family needed for a perfect beach vacation. The beach club access was perfect and we had quick access to some other great public beaches.

Great location, best pool, very comfy!

Probably bit more than one person needs, but the price was great for the location. It is very central to all our favourite beaches & resorts, and the Mauna Lani shops include a Foodland which makes grocery shopping a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This property was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room and the best stocked kitchen we've ever seen! Ran into a little hiccup but the owner was quick to respond and solve the issue.

Wonderful villa and location

The villa was so homey and spotless. We had access to the garage and could use beach wagon for our towels, snorkel gear etc. Janine and her husband really have a beautiful villa!

Wonderful vacay vrbo

Truly phenomenal VRBO with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation! We loved all the tips and recommendations provided by our host and the communication was excellent! We had everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches and the bbq was wonderful! Thank you!!!

Perfect Location

My husband and I love this villa! It has so many wonderful amenities and for us it was a great location to beaches, towns, and just exploring the island. Our host was fabulous and gave us so many suggestions and ideas. Definitely a return trip!

Family friendly, great location, wonderful amenities, excellent hosts

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and loved it. The hosts are top notch. Excellent communication and very helpful with local ideas and recommendations. The home is well stocked with just about anything you’d need for your stay, including a garage full of fun beach and pool equipment. We are ready to go back!

Girls Trip

This property was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more! The location was the best especially compared to other vacation rentals. Having access to the private beach/club was key!! Communication with the owners was on point and the space was clean. We would book here again!

Great time!

This was an amazing place to stay! My wife was participating in the Ironman 70.3, and this place was a 15 minute walk to the location of the race. Another huge positive was having access to the Beach Club down the street. We couldn’t have been happier with this condo during our stay, and we definitely hope to stay here again when my wife races the half Ironman again!

My family (spouse, myself and 3 kiddos) - stayed at Janine & Andrew's lovely home for a week and it was perfect for us! From the cleanliness, amenities, well-stocked kitchen, location, and so much more - our stay at Villa Lava was absolute perfection. Janine was incredibly helpful and communicative our entire stay! We hope to be back in the future. Thank you for making our first visit to the Big Island as a family of 5 absolutely seamless!

Staying in paradise

We (family of four, two adults, kids 10 and 7) stayed at the Villa Lava for a week. It is a wonderful place, the location is great to the beaches and also to the little shopping mall nearby. We loved the property, very spacious and well maintained. The kids enjoyed the pool and made some friends while we were staying there. We are already making plans to come back next year.

Beautiful condo and property

The pool and hot tub was a big hit with the kids. The beach access was great and just a short drive away. Beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with needed spices, pots, pans, and utensils. Make sure to take a short drive to see the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. Thanks for a great stay

Great condo w everything we needed

Host amazing, beginning w good local Info prior to arrival. Very responsive to small issue we had w grill. It was taken care of immediately. Great stay w pool, hot tub and beautiful beaches.

Relaxing stay in beautiful and spacious townhouse

Villa Lava was exactly as pictured - spacious, upscale, and well-appointed. Everyone we n was provided, from laundry supplies to everything you could want for a beach day. We enjoyed the spacious pool and we even used the community gym. Communication was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Stay - just need more days!!!

Our whole family loved our stay. The villa had everything you would need and was set up amazingly well for young kids - comfortable beds, great pool, good AC and reliable WiFi. The Beach Club down the road was a great place for snorkelling and beach time. Shops are close by for essentials. Janine was a great host and I can’t wait to book again! Absolutely fabulous Big Island home!

Beautiful, well-kept, gorgeously-furnished home in the Fairways! Everything from the beach supplies to the well-equipped kitchen was just about perfect. Breakfast every day out on the lanai, grilling out there about half the time for our dinners; peaceful night's sleep in the great beds; plenty of space for my husband and I and our kids (11 and 7) -- and lovely hosts who made our stay everything we hoped it would be and more. We can't wait to go back!

Great Family Vacation!

Our family of 4 loved this property so much! They do a great job of stocking it with everything you need (beach supplies, appliances, laundry detergent) so it makes it easy to travel light. The house is well maintained and has a lovely view of a garden. It’s also steps away from the community pool which was great for our two young kids. We were also impressed with the communication; the house came with a helpful manual as well as well labeled without being too intense. We would definitely stay here again!
