Welcome to our Mountain Chalet! This beautiful, open-concept Pocono chalet features a stone-faced fireplace, vaulted ceilings, an impressive wall of windows, & wide-plank hardwoods! The well stocked gourmet kitchen is a great center point for the house, complete with wine fridge! Spend time playing pool in the billiards room with family & friends! Relax on the spacious front deck for BBQ or unwind in the hot tub on the private back deck! Split Unit AC for those hot summer days!

This Pocono Chalet is located in the very popular Towamensing Trails community, which offers a 193 acre spring-fed lake, beach area, swimming pool, clubhouse with restaurant service, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball court, fishing, and boat rentals!

Great for a get together

My friends and I stayed here to get together for my birthday. It was a great house- everything was totally amazing. The owner was very responsive and helped out with everything I needed. Unfortunately the row boats weren’t available when we stayed but overall great stay!

Great Area

We loved our stay at this property. It is centrally located to lots of places to see. Great restaurants in the area. The host was very friendly and responsive. The property was very clean.

Winter Getaway

Whispering Pines waaauch a lovely home! We truly enjoyed ourselves. The home had such a warm ans cozy feel to it. We would definitely come stay again!

Wonderful home

The location and house are great. I was shocked when I found the bedroom sheets for all rooms were not washed at all! As soon as I washed them with bleach it was a huge difference in the overall appearance and color of the sheets back to white again. The mattress feel like they sink in and are not supportive for your back . Other than that we really enjoyed our time together in the house, it was a very nice looking place, fully equipped …

Needs some TLC

The exterior of the property is in need of both a thorough cleaning, and some repairs to both the front porch and the back hot tub area. Despite that, the interior of the house was clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the hot water heater leaking, and although it was late the management took care of having a plumber come out and replace it immediately. The hot tub was wonderful, and the beds quite comfortable. It would be advisable to replace the cracked and broken outdoor chairs, and have the gutters cleaned, there are plants growing in them. We also felt since there were no doors on either the entry closet or laundry area, curtains would be a nice touch. The kitchen needs to have utensils replaced…I think there were three teaspoons, and we had to buy our own large skillet. The stools at the breakfast bar need attention. They are very stained. It looks as though people sat on them while wearing swim suits wet from the chlorinated water in the hot tub. Overall our family’s stay was pleasant. We loved seeing the deer wander through the property. But the above mentioned things do need attention.

Pretty setting BUT….

Hosts were very responsive, house was clean, great temperature control and nice natural lighting in the front room and kitchen area. Close to turnpike. Some things we wish we had known BEFORE we booked: The property does not sleep 10, but will accommodate 6 if they share beds. Both of the sleeper sofa beds are broken. The property has a LOT of rules. You need to submit license plate info BEFORE you arrive (a hassle for large groups & last minute changes). Hosts were patient, but did email repetitively for this info even weeks before it was due. We were instructed to wear wrist bands the entire trip—Even when not using community amenities. There was a sign for the hot tub warning us to shower after use because of possible cancer causing chemicals. Ick. Another sign posted if the toilet backs up we may be charged if they suspect we flushed something not allowed. We worried we may be blamed if previous guests broke the “rule”. YOU are expected to take the trash with you when you leave. There is a drop off spot on the community grounds for that. Towels: there are not enough shower towels for 8 people (had to use some unused beach towels from the hot tub). There is a long unavoidable divot about a foot away from the front porch. Everyone tripped on it, one of our guests sprained her ankle. We reported a broken door handle, hole in wall and running toilet upon arrival. Hosts said it will be addressed.

Our family of 6 had a great time staying here. It was above our expectations. The neighborhood was very peaceful and deer came to visit the yard every morning and evening. The kids loved seeing the deer and we were able to go for walks on the road without very much traffic at all. We also love that it’s very close to Hickory Run State Park, which we visited multiple times during our stay. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway in the woods. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Birthday getaway

We rented the house for a night, for a little birthday getaway, and it was absolutely amazing!!! My main thing i wanted was a hottub and a comfortable spot to spend the night and we got just that!!! Would definitely come again!:)

Nice house and close to Blue Mt

We had a great time at this house. We stayed with friends for the weekend and skied at Blue Mountain (about 30 mins away). House was clean, kitchen was fully equipped and the hot tub was great! Corynne was a pleasure to work with and very responsive!

Great Stay

The property was accurate to the listing , clean , and inviting. The procedures for disposing of trash at the compactor and utilizing the other amenities were also well laid out and easy to follow. My group was at an all day event for most of our stay, but the clean and warm house to come back to turned the trip from good to great
