The house was perfectly clean upon check-in and is in a great location, with the rear of the property looking out over the woods - so very private. The screened-in porch/deck area on the side was great for meals on rainy days and the back deck looking into woods perfect for better weather. The game room was fun, with options for kids and adults and was well set up for both play and relaxing. Host was incredibly responsive to any concerns we had - always responding immediately. The pictures of the property are accurate. By far, the best property we have rented in the Hideout. We would definitely stay here again if looking to rent in the Hideout.

This house is perfect! It’s comfortable, decorated nicely and was more than enough room for us. I highly recommend staying here. We plan to come back to the area and will definitely book this house again! We enjoyed our stay.

Exactly as advertised

We had a great stay with family and friends. The communication was great, and we even tried some of the suggestions for food sent to us, all were amazing food. Overall one of the best places we have stayed at over the years. I would highly recommend.

Family Vacation

This property is as advertised and more. It was so clean. We enjoyed spending time on the decks and around the fire pit making S’mores. The amenities in the development were beautiful.

Excellent Home

We had a blast at Serenity Woods! Matt and Wendy were very accommodating and answered any questions we had! The house is beautiful and clean. The screened in porch was our favorite! We would definitely book again!

Family vacation

This property had everyrhing you could ever need to have the best family vacation. The house was spotless. The owners were quick to respond at all times. We had people from 5 to 50 and everyone loved jt and didnt want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity House. We loved the woodsy and peaceful setting and the screened in porch. The house was clean, with great kitchen items (dishes, pots and pans). The bedrooms were comfortable and cool. My family had fun playing Rock Band. The only concern was the lack of AC in the main living area which became hot during the peak heat times. We appreciated the ID tags that provided entry into the amenities.

Great Stay For Families

We had an excellent week at Serenity Woods! There was something to do for all ages! Being able to go back and forth from the South Pool to the beach was so nice! I do want to mention we were nervous about there being no central AC and it being mid-summer, but with the window units and many fans provided it was not an issue at all! We were nice and cool all week! Matt was super helpful with any questions we had and tips for things to do off the property!

Great place, great experience

The house is beautiful, very tastefully done. The location is also beautiful, backing into the woods. House is well furnished. It seemed a bit smaller than it looked in pictures, however it was very comfortable for our group of 9 adults/teens. We had an extreme winter weather related situation in the house - the owners were very accessible and communicated frequently to help as best as they could. We had a great stay and highly recommend the property.

Great house, great location

Most fully stocked location of any rental I’ve ever stayed! We enjoyed all the community’s resources (beach, pool, sports options) along with having plenty to do at the house itself. The bedrooms worked well for our 6 adults and a little one. We had everything we needed. Only one wish is that the basement bedroom could be cooled down a bit more. Otherwise highly recommend for families.

Very cute place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went to enjoy a little getaway with our children for our anniversary and made many memories! The place was very clean and very well stocked. The kids enjoyed all the amenities and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. It was within walking distance to the clubhouse and a little playground we went to. Matt was very responsive and gave us suggestions to make reservations (which we were so glad to know!) We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful retreat

Family + 1 friend (8 of us, ages 11 to 76) spent 3 nights and had a terrific time: Played mini-golf and golf; played all the fun games in the house; went to the gym, pool and beach; rode bikes; walked; grilled. We celebrated a 75th birthday. The house is so wonderfully decorated and was so clean and comfortable. We loved eating our meals on and just hanging out on the delightful screened-in porch where we could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. The house is a winner!

Great home!

This is our 3rd stay at the Hideout and we just cannot love it more! The community has so much to do inside it, let alone options nearby Matt and Wendy’s home was so warm and welcoming. We stayed for a week and for a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids aged 7-11) the house was exactly what we needed! It was fully stocked with games, cooking basics, etc We had to reach out to Matt and Wendy during our stay and they were very prompt in response. Thanks so much for opening your home for us!

More beautiful in person

The house was super clean, and decorated so beautifully! Everything was explained thoroughly by the owners. Out of all the vacation houses we rented before, Matt’s house was the cleanest, even to the dishes. The views from the huge living room windows are absolutely stunning. It was raining/snowing when we stayed but we got to enjoy the house! The heating works great, my family stayed in the lower level but it was very warm. We hope to come back in the summertime! Thank you Matt & Wendy!
